Souvenirs from the Twitch Stream~ Two Days Left on the Campaign!

Posted by Tinker Games (Creator)

Greetings and salutations, dearest backers! Also a warm welcome for those who just landed their first visit here~

After reaching out to the main goal, we have reached the $50,000 mark! It’s still counting, and we have another 48 hours to reach those fancy stretch goals… Let’s make it together! (and release the Octopus from the second tube! *Huh? What was that?)

As for today’s stream, we have tons of fun~! It’s our first time being live on the stream, but it’s a really pleasant experience for all of us. Gonna do it again in the near future… Do you have any suggestion for the time? We planned to do it on the final countdown of the campaign (which is Thursday morning PDT), but we could also try to arrange for an earlier one.

First off, deep apologize from The Hand Man (dang, my nickname got changed after the stream xD) that we forgot to record the live stream… So there’s no documentation on it :( I got a little too excited and miss the settings for recording the whole stream. Gonna remember it for the next time, though! ;)

Today’s stream featured four main topics: the team introduction, a play-through on the mock-up, live drawing session, and an informal Q-A session with the dev team. We utilized the chat section for viewers to ask a question and the dev team answered them. It had a little delay, though, as we couldn’t make it a real-time one. There were lots of interesting questions; Thus, we’re going to list it as an FAQ on the main page.

There was nothing special on the play-through (aside of I got stuck during the time-bound mission and had to retry the stage all over again xD), but we hope that it’s going to give better view for those who are new to the game :)

The live drawing session - ran in parallel with the Q-A session - was much more interesting. Mukhlis a.k.a Sinlaire drew an Ellen’s form: the Wyvern. During the session, there were lots of interesting stuff, with the Baby Shark being highly discussed. It refers to the stuff from the broken tube on the list of stretch goals (on the Update #12). Some of them even wanting a plushie of it (as well as a 36-inch plushie of Ellen). Some suggested that we should have an octopus for the next stretch goal. (What kind of tube is this? An aquarium?)

Sooo, here we go~ Here is the picture of the Wyvern drawn during the live drawing session

And a special one to you: THE BABY SHARK! nyuuuuu~

Yay~! We really enjoyed the stream… Thank you to all of you, and let’s spread the news so that more and more people could join the next stream!

Also, please visit our Steam Greenlight page and vote for a 'yes'~!

Til we meet again~

Just woke up and it looks like you've reached the next stretch goal!

    2. Casey Chou on

Oh I love the wyvern! It looks a lot sleeker than the first version!

@Tinker Games: Congratulations on crossing the $50K mark!

Holy cow, it's $42 USD minimum just to get a digital copy of that Beast's Fury game?! Their backer reward tiers...yeesh. They would have probably blown their goal out of the water had they balanced them a bit better.

Also, if you're looking for some promotional items, etc. check out

@Cie Kite: Hah, perfect! I'll go with that :D

@Lean Me: Yeah, I can see how the tail could be mistaken for a dorsal fin. It's almost like one of those optical illusions where you can make out two different pictures depending on how you look at it.
I do agree that it is too cute whichever way you look at it, though.

    5. Schadows on

Count me in for the plushie ^_~

XiaoStella here~ Dang I feel a bit guilty right now :( Gonna make sure that on the next time I'll record the whole thing!

Aaaand, regarding the plushie thingy: it's not an impossible thing to do, but we are quite unfamiliar with the vendor and such... is there any vendor on the States that you guys/girls could recommend to? Other vendor such as the one to make the Artbook or T-Shirts will be OK too :)

@AABAR: The Tyrant form is the maximum for the time being. Ellen's transformations are starting from the Wyvern - Juggernaut - Tyrant :)

    7. Lean Me on

My Monster, it is! I do not see fins in the original, and it makes sense, like tadpole Ellen. I think people mistook the tail for a dorsal fin. I know did too. Either way, it is way too cute a̶n̶d̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶d̶l̶y̶!

@Level¹Imp : I have an explanation ! In fact, this is a genetically modified shark who evolves as a frog : In the birth it is only an eel, and while growing paws, fins and tails develop ! :D

      Baby Sharkie!!!
      Thirding the baby shark plushie.

Congrats on the 51k thus far (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
      Stretch goals ahoy!

Disappointingly I only caught the first couple of minutes of the stream (was roughly 4:30am where I was) before having to go to work. Really sad it wasn't recorded, from what I saw it looked to be the start of a fun experience.
Next time it'll hopefully I'll be able to see it all live, but if not, at least watch later.

Wait a minute, that really _was_ a shark form in the first tank? I always saw it as an eel/snake-like creature form, something like
Well either way, baby shark is adorable and I must agree it needs a plushie form stat! :D

That Wyvern was drawn during a live session? I am incredibly impressed. It looks amazing! Well done indeed.

Thank you for another great update, keep up the good work Tinker crew (°∀°)b

      Seconding the baby shark plushie!

lol I was wondering too why it wasn't recorded - however I assume the Q&A was what @Hors3man posted in the main comment section:… - looking forward to the updated FAQ on the main page!

Nice update on the Wyvern form! - so the Tyrant form could also be updated?

Looking forward to the next livestream! (I couldn't join this one)

Lastly under $2k left for Mac & Linux!

    13. Nirleka on

I see, Today I am wondering why tinkergame don't have video archive in twitch, please don't forget to record for the next twitch session :p.

Maybe you could adding developer's video commentary about the game. Talking about your vision and team. Something like behind the scene in DVD movie. Then you can use it as promotion video in Steam greenlit.

Anyway, thank you for your hard work!

Set apart our mascot, the wyvern form is wonderful ! It was very interesting to see taking shape the artwork live. Thanks to Sinlaire who make us dream with his illustrations ! Now, I look forward the teleport form who looks very beautiful too.

Too bad that the stream was not recorded, because it was really brilliant. I look forward to the next stream, and in the meantime: good luck !
