About this project
Kickstart Tina & Her Pony- Indie Appalachian Folk from Asheville, NC!
Here’s a chance to do something wonderful; support some authentic Art and Music in a direct and effective way.
WE LOVE MUSIC because it impacts people, it changes lives, like your first dance, or the sound track of your teenage years or your grandpa’s favorite song at his funeral, creating and experiencing beauty makes life purposeful for ourselves and others. It opens doors and holds a place for all of us.
This is why we are doing this.
Back in your life is a new song that will be on the new record! Click below to listen!
As artists It’s Important for us to remain in control of our sound and art, by remaining independent artists. Kickstarter is a way for us to do that. Using a more grass roots platform also helps us remain connected to each other, in communication with those of you who want to give back somehow.
This next album will be called “Champion”, and it is largely inspired by dreams/the subconscious and death and will be dedicated to Tina's father Brad Collins who passed away in 2014. He was a champion to many, Including us. He lead by example and with love and helped thousands of us transform. Find out more about his life's work at http://shamanicbreathwork.org
He would be SUPER proud because this will be our first BIG, LEGIT studio album undertaking! We've been wanting to record at Echo Mountain for like 8 years!!!! 8 YEARS!!! Echo Mountain, Asheville NC’s very own world renowned recording studio that has hosted such artists as; The Avett Brothers, Widespread Panic, and Band of Horses, Echo ensures top notch quality for all our listeners and fans to bask in!
Jacqueline Maloney, this incredible woman is handcrafting the cover art and a mini booklet for "Champion". She has crafted her original art specifically inspired by and created to the rhythms and harmonies of every song on the album! Each song has its own accompanying art piece! So fun!
All of these pieces will be individually hung in the gallery of the venue during our album release in November in Asheville! They will also be bound together in a mini booklet with lyrics as a Kickstarter backer reward exclusive!
In donating you are not only supporting us! We are employing a whole other network of super incredible Artists and Musicains, Like:
