Landscapes of Adventure!
This project is to create small paintings, this time from imaginary locations rather than the British coast. Just for a change! The paintings are inspired by the D&D world of Faerun. From art postcards to 5"x7" paintings to 20"x20" canvases and larger! Plus some game/geek bits if you like that, too. Welcome to my world...
BONUS! Ready for your own adventure? And free art?

Back to the project...
Wow, I'm speechless. Blasted through all 3 stretch goals. So now, any ideas from YOU? What would you like see added?
Note that the Treasure Chest AND Explorer's Pack will now both include the art postcards and the magic item cards together.
The landscapes I'll be creating could include the familiar and favourites like Waterdeep Harbour, The Underdark, The Mere of Dead Men, Castle Spulzeer ruins, Giants Plain, Atkathla
and also some homebrew locations from my own adventures: Saltfork: a fishing village between Waterdeep and the Mere, Ironheart: a walled town nestled against the Troll Hills, the Golem Islands where secret maps led to dragons and treasure!
Just deciding what to paint is one big adventure!
My artwork isn't like other genre or fantasy artists, and I'm not trying to be. This is a project of love for my subject and my own style - an ethereal atmospheric abstract approach to landscapes and seascapes that will carry over into the D&D world. Do have a look at my other work either in my previous Kickstarter campaigns or on my website here.
In Faerun I play Millicent - a half-elf warlock pacted to Hoar, bent on vengeance - and I run a group of about 20 players in Scarborough called the Guild of the Golem Heart. In the real world, I'm a full-time artist of 20 years taking a year sabbatical. What better fun to have than to paint Faerun?
You can help the project by backing for a whole range of rewards, to suit my art collectors and fellow gamers alike.

Risks and challenges
I've allowed more than enough time for the paintings, so hopefully will be able to fulfil early - but made a cautious delivery date just in case! I have 20 years of experience in the studio now, so creating the work will not be a problem.
Shipping times. While none of us can control the Royal Mail (alas) I have many years of experience shipping artwork and products so am confident in my delivery date estimates. However, I can't be held responsible for delays due to volcanos or acts of gods, particularly UmberleeLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
