My record release concert for Amber Lantern is finally here! Wednesday, February 8 (tomorrow night) at the Ark in Ann Arbor. Tickets are still available online or you can buy them at the door. I'll be debuting a brand new lineup of State Park and we've all been working so hard over the past few months to put this set together. We will perform Amber Lantern in its entirely alongside some chestnuts from my earlier albums. I so hope to see you there. Thank you for the continued support!

Fulfillment Update: By now, you all should have received your digital download of Amber Lantern and those of you who chose the CD option should have received your physical orders. If I've missed you, please let me know! Those who requested cover song videos, I will double down on my efforts to learn them after the release show. Thank you for your patience.

Vinyl Update: I've done everything I can think of to try and get these orders fulfilled before the release date, but unless a magical FedEx truck appears at my curb tomorrow, it's probably not going to happen. I'm so sorry. I placed my vinyl order in late September with what seemed like plenty of wiggle room, but over the holidays I was forced to reject my first test pressing because its fidelity did not meet my standards. Nearly a month passed before my second test pressing arrived. It sounded glorious and I approved it as quickly as I could, but by that late date I knew we were cutting the timing pretty close.

This has been somewhat of a frustrating ordeal for me, but I have to remind myself that pressing vinyl is an antiquated procedure by today's standards. In spite of my affection for arcane processes, I've still become very used to the instant gratification of uploading digital music and monitoring it in real time. Most of the equipment at the pressing plants is old and finicky and is being severely tested by the unexpected demands of vinyl's resurgence in recent years.

So let me thank you again for your patience. I assure you, the record is going to sound and look amazing! As always, if you have any questions or comments, I'm happy to chat.

I hope to see you tomorrow night at the release show!
