Cycle of the Werewolf- Bernie Wrightson Art Portfolio

Nakatomi is proud to collaborate with our friend, and Master Illustrator, Bernie Wrightson for his first Kickstarter Project!
CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF
Back in 1983, Bernie Wrightson had an idea- he wanted to work with Stephen King on a werewolf project, that would pair his art with King's writing- which would be packaged as a 12-month calendar. Each month would feature a painting from Bernie and a short vignette from King, matching the monthly transformation of a werewolf. That project quickly changed from the calendar idea into the Illustrated short novel, Cycle of the Werewolf, which later was adapted into the film Silver Bullet.
This Kickstarter project is to fund a high-quality artist edition collection of the full color illustrations from Cycle of the Werewolf as a print set, along with a book collecting the Black and White illustrations and never-before printed concept and process sketches.

ORIGINAL ART + WOOD BOX
This pledge level gets everything included with the wood box set level, PLUS a piece of hand-drawn original Cycle of the Werewolf art by Bernie. These sketches from 1983 were in his archives, and they can now be yours. We've selected just 5 pieces for this reward, and first person to pledge gets first pick, and so on! We will post photos of all the pieces in a future update. Each piece measures 14x17.
THE BUDGET-
The Budget is to cover the cost of production on the boxes for both print sets, along with the paper and ink to print the Giclées, along with the cost to ship them out to pledges!
THE SCHEDULE-
The prints are already formatted for printing, the boxes are designed, and all vendors have been contacted, and lined up to get this going! Once this project has funded, we are looking to have the Calendars in hand by early December, and out the door in time for everyone to use them January 1st, 2017! The prints are being produced in-house at Nakatomi, and Bernie will be on hand to do all the signing. If all goes as expected, all pledges should ship by mid-December.
All this project needs is your support!
Thank you so much for reading!
UPDATE! STRETCH GOAL #1- PINS- UNLOCKED!

This project has been a raging success and we want to give back to you all with a little bonus!
Since the $68k goal was SMASHED, EVERYONE who pledges at the $35 level or higher (meaning Calendar/Shirt level on up) Will get one of these limited edition pins that are EXCLUSIVE to this project- these pins will not be for sale online at a later date! Wear this and let people know you helped make this project a reality!
If you've already pledged at a lower level and want to upgrade to get this pin, you can 'adjust your reward' though Kickstarter. Let us know if you need assistance with this!
STRETCH GOAL #2! BONUS PRINT!

Hello everyone! Here's our 2nd and Final Stretch goal!
If this project (with just days left to go...) hits $75k every pledge at the $175 level and above will ALSO receive an exclusive 8x10 hand-printed letter press print of the key Werewolf skeleton art from this campaign!
Printed here in Austin by Biscuit Press, this letterpress printing is a really lush and rich presentation for Bernie's line art- hand-inked plates pressed into thick paper stock, giving it a reverse-embossing that has a great 'feel' and look in person! These prints will be hand-numbered in a limited edition!
This print won't be available outside of this campaign, so if you don't get it here, you won't be able to purchase it later!
So share this project and tell your friends, we're near the end here, and every little bit counts!

Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges for this project are quite low. Nakatomi Print Labs is handling all print-production in house, and we have a full-time staff who will be doing the printing, packing, and shipping of all rewards. Nakatomi may be small, but we have been in business for 7 years, and have safely shipped tens of thousands of orders to customers all over the globe!
The design for the book and calendar is done, the printing and box manufacture arrangements have been made out of Canada, shipping and production on rewards are being handled in-house by our staff- all we need to know is how many to print, and who to ship them to!
Barring any unforeseen hiccups, we should be well within any of our reward delivery dates.
We believe Kickstarter is the ideal place to take this project to make sure that everyone who wants to get on board CAN do so.
