Happy Equal Pay Day + Picts from the EU Tour!
We're finally back in LA after 40 days on the road. Here's where we've been:
We loved each one of the stops, but we must admit that the UK was truly special, because our visit there marked an important step forward for our company, Timbuktu.
Remember how we partnered with Penguin to publish volume 1 in the UK and Commonwealth? Well, from volume 2 we decided to expand our operations and we're now the only publisher for the English language on a global scale!
It was a huge step forward for a small company like ours, but... we did it!
This picture was shot the day before launch, in our London office. You can see the excitement in the eyes of Giulia, our art director and Eleonora, our global sales manager.
Now, UK readers can buy Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls 2 from our website and get free shipping! Just click here! And please, let all your friends know!
We made the front page of the newspapers in Sweden!
Volume 2 is doing fantastic everywhere!
And in Italy, both our books are in the TOP 5 of the overall bestsellers!
Over the past weeks, we met more than 10,000 rebels in person. Thanks to all those who showed up at the presentations. It was fantastic to listen to your stories! In Turin, for the first time one of our presentations was translated into sign language!!!
Happy Equal Pay Day!
Today, we published a new episode of the podcast: Billie Jean King read by feminist author Jessica Valenti. It's probably the most galvanizing episode of the entire first season and an incredible way to explain equal pay to everyone. You can listen to it on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher... or on our website!
Please, share this episode with your friends! Click here to tweet! (Can edit before sending)
Did you know that the podcast already got MORE THAN 200,000 DOWNLOADS???
We're currently in the TOP 100 in the US!
Until next time, stay tuned and stay rebel,
PS: Next week, we'll host a FB live Q&A about the podcast on our Facebook page. Stay tuned, cause we'll let you know day and time pretty soon.
