Yes, the land we'll be exploring has been inhabited, hunted and fished for millennia. We are sensitive to this issue and plan to cover it extensively in the film. No story can be told about this land without acknowledging its first human inhabitants, who still work and live there to this day. As for the specific area we are going, we have no evidence of it being an old hunting or trade route, as there are no portage trails, but that does not mean that first nations people have not visited it in the past. We are advocates for all things native, fish, wildlife, and people alike. We do not wish to claim this land as our own, simply the opportunity to explore its wonders and share them with the world.
