I'm so excited for our stretch goal! If we are able to hit $11,000, I will donate 111 books (11 is my lucky number!) to Pajama Program, an organization that brings caring bedtime rituals to children living in shelters by offering them the magical gifts of pajamas and books. Help me make this happen!
Tiny Acts of Kindness is a charming picture book that inspires us to find the tiniest of ways to be kind to one another. Through poetic verses and dreamy illustrations, the book takes you on the journey of one small act of kindness as it travels, grows, and spreads—becoming much more than one could ever imagine.
When my children were born, my only wish was for them to grow up to see the brightest world possible. I want them to know more love than hate, more joy than sadness, more togetherness than separation, more light than darkness.
I believe that acts of kindness are the seeds from which a more loving world can emerge. Kindness is a choice made out of pure love and nothing else. It’s the intention to always stay in the light no matter what goes on around you. It’s choosing love over fear.
With Tiny Acts of Kindness, I want to emphasize how kindness can be found in the tiny things we do. When we smile at someone or give a heartfelt “thank you,” the impact of these gestures go far beyond what our minds can dream of. I believe that these tiny acts have wings and can travel far and wide to touch the lives of many others. And with every small act, the world will shine just a bit brighter . . . and then a bit brighter . . . until one day, we will see a changed world, full of love and light.
My wish for Tiny Acts of Kindness is to inspire children to do their own tiny acts wherever they go. What I want most is for people to understand that small things truly matter. Our lives are made up of tiny moments, each one contributing to a much larger picture. And it’s through these tiny moments that we can choose to act out of love.
Since Tiny Acts of Kindness is really about how small things matter, I will continue to create books that follow the same notion. I’m in the process of writing the next book called Tiny Acts of Bravery. This next book is about showing up and being brave in small, everyday moments. It’s about viewing bravery in a different way than what we’ve been shown in movies and books: fighting dragons, going into battle, or saving the world. Tiny Acts of Bravery are things such as: saying no when you don’t want to say yes, standing apart from a crowd to be yourself, or speaking out at the risk of being unpopular. While kindness should be at the center of our hearts, bravery is what we need to truly affect change.
My dream is for Tiny Acts of Kindness to be on bookshelves and nightstands everywhere. I envision parents and caregivers snuggling up with their little ones for an uplifting bedtime read. I see it being read to students in libraries and classrooms.
To put this book in as many hands as possible, I’m asking for your help to bring this book to life and spread the message to your friends and family. With your help, I hope that this tiny book will take flight and go on to touch many lives.

Classroom Visit and Reading (for groups)
I would love to come meet your group! If you’re in the San Francisco/Bay Area, I will come to your location to do a reading, sign books, and thank you in person (1-2 hours).
I wear many creative hats: illustrator, author, designer, and maker of artful paper goods. But above all, I’m a mom of two adorable little ones so what I really want to create is a world where small things matter and kindness rules. I believe that magic exists and anything is possible (especially if you believe in magic!). My home is in sunny Saratoga, CA where I live, work, and craft ideas on how to bring more magic into everyday life. Check out my website and follow me to see more of my art and creations.

Risks and challenges
The book has been finalized and sent to the printer! While everything comes with risks and challenges, I have no doubt that this book will make it into your hands. My background in design has allowed me to work on the production process with ease and my knowledge and skills as a shop owner means that I am used to making ideas come to life.
I am happy to have a publishing partner, Beaver’s Pond Press (www.beaverspondpress.com), who helped me with editing, production, printing, and strategies for distribution. Their extensive knowledge and experience in the publishing industry means that this book is in good hands. I will stay in close communication with Beaver's Pond Press and the printer to help ensure the printing process stays on track. If any delays do arise, I will be sure to communicate them to my backers. I anticipate getting the book in your hands by June and could not be more excited to share this book with you!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
