FINALLY A YEARBOOK THAT GETS EVERYONE EXCITED ABOUT SCHOOL!
The first days of school can be overwhelming for children in kindergarten and early elementary school. A lot is expected of them; homework, coping with new teachers, classmates and a long day away from mom and dad. Children need to know that school is a safe place. Making friends and having a positive relationship with teachers will help develop a sense of belonging and keep children motivated in the classroom.
Through Pig and Thin® is proud to present its first friendship keepsake book that is targeted specifically to children in kindergarten and early elementary school. Created by German native, Stephanie Honikel, this personalized yearbook will truly make a difference in your child's life! German kids have been filling out these kind of books for years and they are especially popular accessories at reunions where these early childhood memories are often rekindled.
What makes this keepsake book so special is that it creates a fun and personalized experience. Children can document personal details, add pictures, stickers and color. It holds plenty of pages for every student in class. Even the teacher can leave a special note for his or her student. This is something that a child will always cherish for years and into adulthood.
Meet the piggy friends Rosie and Patriot and follow their journey throughout the book as they go Through Pig and Thin. The illustrations are fun and age appropriate. Whether it’s riding the scooter together or jumping in mud puddles; these are all activities that young children can relate to and enjoy doing. “My school friends” is an amazing friendship keepsake book that is guaranteed to leave smiling faces in the years to come.
Donate a book to a child at Hope
You love the product, but your children are older? Having spent seven years of her life in a children's home in Germany, Stephanie Honikel wants to help support the children of Hope Children's Home in Tampa, Florida. They currently have 28 children in preschool, kindergarten, and/or early elementary school. At a time where friends are more important than ever before, you can donate a book to a child at Hope.
What the funds are for
Self-publishing, unfortunately, is very costly. Most book printing labs require a minimum book order to even consider printing and/or to reduce the cost per book in general. The yearbook is printed here in the United States. It is a 8x8 hardcover book with all pages printed in color. With an increase in paper quality, the printing cost also increases dramatically. The paper quality is crucial because it needs to handle children writing/drawing in the book. In addition to the printing cost, the shipping cost / packaging also needs to be taken into consideration.
