This past year has been a whirlwind. I've played more shows and traveled more miles in ten months than I had in the previous two years. Playing for a diverse audience inspired me with a lot of new songs. Things slowed down for the holidays this past year and I finally had time to sift through them. I am excited to be working with a lot more people this time. Musicians, producers, engineers and videographers. By choosing to rally a whole team to fund this new EP it will help ensure more people than ever have a chance to hear my songs. It will also help propel my touring schedule to the next stage which could begin to include midwest and west coast travels.
Risks and challenges
The challenge with releasing an EP usually has to do with studio time and promotion. I always want to ensure that the music I put out is of the best quality. I also want to work with extremely talented musicians and producers who help take these songs to totally new places. However this cost time and a bit of money.
In regards to promotion, sometimes the biggest challenge is getting people to hear the songs when they are released. Nowadays there is so much music out there and without strategically funded PR and marketing my new material could get buried amongst all the noise. Your contributions help ensure it reaches more ears!!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
