This is it! We are prepping to go into production on our next feature film SCOUT CAMP: THE KLONDIKE and we need your help. We are coming to kickstarter as a way to get the involvement of anyone who wants to climb aboard this amazing adventure.
In 2009, Three Coin Productions produced and released a quiet little independent feature film about Boy Scouts. This independent family comedy soon found its audience. A year later, "SCOUT CAMP" played at the 2010 Centennial Celebration, and the film's hit song Born to Be a Scout rocked the scouting nation. What had started out as a labor of love had finally hit the scout scene.
Now, the hilarious screenwriter Jake Van Wagoner has teamed up with writer/director Garrett Batty and completed a wonderfully respectful and comical original script. We've set the production up to be filmed this fall, but we still need to get the funds to go into production.
This film cannot happen without your involvement. And the involvement of your friends. Like gas on a fire, we need some funds to help getting this started. We have a crew lined up, a cast in mind, locations picked out, and a schedule to meet. But making a film, involving 25 days of shooting, and over 200 scouts doesn't come cheap...
We are raising $150,000 for production costs. Every penny of the budget raised will be on the screen. It will go into building the sets, getting the perfect cast, creating an accurate and authentic wardrobe, and making this a movie that everyone involved can be proud of.
The rewards for participating are incredible, and they start immediately! So please join us, then share this campaign with everyone you know. Again, this is an all or nothing campaign. If we we don't hit the funding goal in 30 days, than we start back at ground zero. Nothing. So, get on board. Make a contribution, then share this campaign. If ever there was a project to get involved with, this is it!
