THANK YOU for taking a few minutes to check us out.
We hope you'll join us on our journey to continue to create uniquely original music that comes from our life experiences, our hopes and despairs, and our dreams.
We are Thousand Frames, a cinematic hard rock band that calls the Mile High City home. Formed in late 2012 by singer/songwriters Kyle Kaufman (Crashing Daylight, Forever Waiting) and Kelsey Marchman (Coriander, Stereoshifter) we have gained a legion of fans who connect with our powerful lyrics, melodies and vivid compositions. We draw our musical inspiration from ourselves, but have been influenced by bands like RED, Chevelle, Starset, Nothing More, and Breaking Benjamin. Two years ago we self-produced our first EP, "Centralia." We chose the title as a homage to a Pennsylvania ghost town that has been burning underground since 1962. The songs on Centralia share a similar kinship to the "fire" that burns in each of us to never give up on our dreams.
Since the release of Centralia, we've been working hard to share our new original music. We have written three brand new tracks along with two additional instrumental compositions. In our new EP, we tell an overarching narrative that is accompanied by heavy guitars, moving melodies, big drums, and cinematic themes. We explore new ideas, built on our cinematic base, and have collaborated with Corey Lowery (Saint Asonia, Dark New Day). We are teaming up with Ian Combs (Throw the Fight, Cold Kingdom) to assist us with recording our new record in Minnesota, and professional drummer Dango (Scott Stapp, RED, Amber Pacific), to lay down our beats!
Along the way, we've experienced amazing opportunities to open for RED, Icon for Hire, Downing Pool, Stitched Up Heart, Shaman's Harvest, and many more. It's inspired us to create an all new EP. We hope you'll support us in this new venture. We can't wait to share it with all of you later this year. THANK YOU so much for becoming a part of our hopes and dreams.
