Latest News - Concerning Release and Misc.
Hey everybody, I realized it's been awhile since the last update and I figured you all could use a progress report.
The game is roughly halfway done. Basically everything programming wise is done concerning gameplay, the majority of the remaining work left on the game is creating the cutscenes, menus, the rest of the levels, implementing the game's script, and then linking everything all together. I've optimized the game's code to be able to run on everything except the most toasty of toasters, and I'm currently trying to implement various graphic options to disable the more demanding particles and screen effects.
I had wanted to release this game during Q3 2015, and even though I'm getting "over the hump" there's still a lot of work to be done. I would have been much further along, but real life got in the way as it is apt to do. My current job is taking up a lot of my time, and I've been able to work but just not as much as I would have hoped over the summer. I'm not going to announce a new release date because I wouldn't want to let you guys down again, but let me just say if this game doesn't come out even sometime during 2016 then there is something really wrong with me.
I should have posted this much earlier, but I do have a twitter account where you can hear about development MUCH more frequently then on here.
Feel free to check the link out on Twitter, I post new screenshots pretty frequently, talk about features, and I'm more than happy to talk about the game if you ask. This is BEST place to get updates on the game, I'll still be posting here occasionally but it won't be on an as frequent basis.
