Delirium was the first Thirdway Industries project on Kickstarter, and it originally included three decks.
Mad Doubloon available as add on!
Mad Doubloon it's the Delirium add-on coin. It will be a 2" ancient gold coin. Add +13€ per coin for have it. You can add as many as you wish. See the "add-on" section for more informations.
Delirium Prism was the only deck printed from the 2014 KS campaign, and after almost 4 years I've decided to launch this campaign to complete the series with the missing two decks, improving Delirium Insomnia and revealing the mysterious third deck: Delirium Ascension. In this campaign there is also a Collector's Edition of Delirium Ascension available, Delirium Absolute.
Delirium is strongly inspired by the classic french playing cards, making it perfect for cardistry and magic.
The Lost Decks will be printed in USA with USPCC, and will have a lot of different features compared to the first "Prism" version: new backs, new cards and new boxes.
Insomnia was the first stretch goal of the original Delirium Campaign - it was a Thirdway Industries "Lost Deck" - until now.
A revised version of the original draft images shown in 2014 was completed in 2017 with a new color scheme (violet and yellow), which is different from the original draft (violet, green and yellow). There is also a completely new back:
The Insomnia Cards have an angry expression. They live in a dark realm where they can't sleep.
The Betrayed King is even more angry in the Insomnia Deck.
The Club characters were the "good ones" in Delirium Prism - The "Sad Princess" and the "Kind Monarch" are not that nice in Insomnia.
On the other side, the ugly Cruel Duchess didn't change too much.
Delirium Pips are fully custom and sometimes design elements, like blood drops, can be found on the cards.
Delirium Ascension was the mystery deck of the 2014 KS campaign and was not revealed until now.
Ascension will have a lot of metallic inks, both on the cards and the tuckbox. The dark blue, light blue and different shades of gold are all metallic. I've already used USPCC metallic inks in my Eva deck and they turned out awesome.
The card backs will be full bleed and printed with metallic inks.
The new decks will also have some new characters - here are the new Ascension Jokers, the Demon and the Archangel.
Delirium Ascension features:
- Limited Edition - around 1,700 decks
- 3 Metallic inks on both the card front and backs
- Metallic inks on the tuckbox
- 56 Cards
The "Betrayed King" killed himself thinking to become immortal.
Delirium Absolute, the Collector's Edition of Delirium Ascension will have the same cards as Delirium Ascension, but with a different, premium tuck box.
The premium tuck box will be made by a new company, and since it's an experiment, it will be extremely limited. I've decided to made only 777 of them and it's designed mainly for Kickstarter backers.
Alexandra and the Almighty are two new cards, included in every Ascension and Absolute decks. They're "art cards" that can be used as Jokers. Read the "lore" section to know more about them.
Delirium Absolute features:
- [NEW] Embossing
- Super limited edition - only 777 decks made!
- Numbered Seal
- Gold Holofoil box
- Inner printing
Due to the limited rewards available and the low KS price, this deck is made to be almost sold out on Kickstarter - in the case there will be some available after Kickstarter, the retail will be probably $50+.
Alexandra's Box is the final reward of the "Delirium: The Lost Decks" campaign.
Alexandra's Box includes:
- NEW! +2 Gifts from an Immortal
- NEW! +2 Mad Doubloons
- 8 Delirium Insomnia
- 8 Delirium Ascension
- 8 Delirium Absolute
- Signed Delirium Realm Book - From the first Delirium Campaign
It may also include some other rewards, unlocked during or after this campaign. The retail value of this box is over $650 as it is, and it might be even more if some extras will be unlocked.

If you want to know more about the story of Delirium, you need to read the Delirium Realm Book - I've made it available at the link below:
Delirium Realm was printed for the first Delirium Campaign. I still have few physical copies of the book and a copy will be included in each "Alexandra's Box".
Delirium Insomnia and Ascension refer to different realms of the Delirium World, ruled by four Houses. They're strongly related to Prism Realm, but there are some differences.
If you want to read more on the Lost Realms of Delirium, take a look to this minisite > http://www.thirdway.it/deliriumrealm/index.html
Delirium Insomnia is a realm without sunlight - it's always night there. However, Insomnia dwellers are cursed and they can't sleep. The darkness and the sleep deprivation, makes them crazy, angry and violent. They're always fighting each other.
Ascension and Absolute are the same realm, where the occupants think they are Gods - they're just mortals, but everyone thinks they are the reincarnation of the Supreme Delirium God. They wear wings and halos to show their divine power.
Four-winged, golden-haired and righteous, she's the most powerful warrior of the Ascension Realm - she believes that she represents pure Goodness, and kills everyone who is not absolutely pure.
He believes that he is the reincarnation of the pure Evil - he's a powerful magican, but he's also a coward. He wears a crown and gold horns.
The Almighty is one of the few real Gods of the Delirium realm - he was once the most powerful, but he fell in love with a mortal woman. When she was killed by the Evil Tyrant, he used a part of his power to resurrect her as a Goddess.
Alexandra, The Supreme Goddess
Alexandra was, once, the Queen of Clubs of the Delirium realm. She was killed by the Evil Tyrant and resurrected by the Almighty. After her resurrection, she was even more powerful than the Almighty himself and became the absolute ruler of the Delirium world.
Delirium is a Thirdway Industries series, and will be available on the Thirdway Store after the campaign is over.

Risks and challenges
I have already completed several Kickstarter campaigns, I have already printed the Evil Deck, Delirium, Omnia, Dedalo, Pantheon, SINS, Eva and Lunatica decks. I have produced around 50,000 decks with a lot of different designs. Everything should go smoothly.
All the layouts are approved and ready to be printed when the campaigns ends.
I am located in Italy, and I can't do the fulfillment directly: I'm using a professional fulfillment center, Gamblers Warehouse. They have already shipped a lot of Kickstarter decks and have a lot of experience in this field.
Of course problems might happen. I can't control other people's actions, but I'll follow every step of the process to avoid problems and I will keep everyone updated.
All the elements shown could be changed and improved. Printed colors could be different from the ones you see on your screen.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
