Just because you make people laugh, doesn't mean you're happy. A collection of stand up comics in comic book form.
Miserable Comedians is a 64 page collection of comics featuring the adventures of three stand up comedians trying to make it in New York City. Donner, Vic and Grub compete with and against each other vying to gain fans in the club circuit. You'll follow their antics on and off the stage.
The book is written by Tony DiGerolamo (Super Frat, Post Apocalyptic Nick), features the amazing artwork of Mike Williams (Shylock) and includes contributions from Christian Beranek (Validation). Tony is himself a comedian and directs the Philadelphia improv group, Bulletproof Giraffe. Mike is a highly respected and accomplished artist who has also done stand up in the past. Christian is a writer and producer and has worked with comedians in Los Angeles.
Miserable Comedians not only contains comics originally posted on The Webcomic Factory but character sketches and other behind-the-scenes material. In addition, there are several pages of brand new art with characters performing stand up jokes written especially for this edition.
We're offering a bevy of rewards including PDF and print versions of the book, pins and stickers, sketches and other original artwork, and the cover itself illustrated by Mike Williams.

All of the artwork is already produced. What remains is graphic design, printing and distribution. As we proved with our last project, Post Apocalyptic Nick, we're up for the task!
Yes. Absolutely. We printed all our previous pledgers in our previous book, Post Apocalyptic Nick.
Mike is very talented and pretty flexible on this. Email us what you want and I'm sure we'll figure it out.
Sure. I'd prefer it if you did. I usually cater my jokes to the clients that way. You don't have to give me too much info, just some general info about the kind of comedy you like. Whether it should be clean or dirty, political or not, observational or more one liners. I've done stuff for things like wedding toasts and corporate events too. Whatever. I'm sure we'll figure it out.
