A classic tale: You put together the perfect outfit, with the perfect belt to match, and all at once you realize it is ruined-- your belt is simply too long and the flop makes your whole outfit look terrible.
So how are you supposed to fix the problem? You're a busy person, and you're not going to change your whole outfit, pay to shorten your belt, or get a new one- so you might opt for these haphazard/unfashionable solutions:
Looping seems like it is the trendiest of options, but alas, comes with a price:
You don't want to ruin your belt, or worse.. Look bad. So instead of these ridiculous approaches, use The Tuck!™
...But what is The Tuck™?
The Tuck /ThåTu¨ck/ n.
1. A reusable, resizable, reversible leather loop that fastens the floppy end of a belt to the body of the belt.
"Thank goodness I am wearing The Tuck, otherwise my floppy belt would have ruined my otherwise adorable outfit!"
Since The Tuck™ comes in three sizes (S,M,L) and four colors (black, brown, silver, & gold) they are sure to fit any belt and match any outfit.
If the brown and black don't match your belt, the silver and gold will match your buckle (or your accessories)!
The Tuck™ is made of 100% Leather, will always add a stylish touch to your outfit and guarantees that it will NOT damage your belt. So cool.
How Does It Work?
How Did I Think of It?
Right now there are 3 different stylish and affordable packs of The Tuck™:
The Standard Set: Includes 6 variations of The Tuck™: Small, Medium & Large in reversible Black/Brown.
The Metallic Set: Includes 6 variations of The Tuck™: Small, Medium & Large in reversible Silver/Gold.
The Complete Starter Set: Includes 12 variations of The Tuck™: Small, Medium & Large in reversible Black/Brown and Silver/Gold.
FAQ: "I dont understand, why do I only see half the number of promised Tucks on the packs?"
A: Good question! You will only see half of the promised variations when your pack is delivered- but there is a very simple reason. All Tucks are REVERSIBLE- so when you see one Tuck, it really has the value of two. Every brown tuck has black on the inside, every silver Tuck has gold on the inside, and vice versa.
- If your friends and family wear floppy belts and it ruins their outfits, you should have some on hand to give them! We can produce as many Tucks as possible, but it is up to YOU to end the epidemic and spread the love!
Now, where is this $30,000 going?
Yes, $30,000 is a huge amount of money to ask for, and here is why we need that amount:
After I created The Tuck™, I started wearing it everywhere and people kept asking me where to get them, how to buy them, etc. Stores want to order them but my manufacturer in NYC does not have the capabilities to make the amount I require, so I am going overseas where the minimum order is 15,000 units. Yes, it is a lot. We have some money from the Tucks sold to friends but we require an additional $30,000. Your donation will go towards purchasing that order! I can't wait for that many Tucks to be out in the world but we need your help-- if you like The Tuck™, want one, or just want them to exist in the world, please spread the word, pledge, and help us reach our goal!
I would like to thank the following people for making this campaign possible:
My gorgeous models and friends- Charlotte Stewart, Liz Mandelbaum, Lindsey Metselaar, Alexa Rosen, and Kate Fraser.. and the wonderful (and lucky!) Homer Parkes for shooting all of them.
My parents- Robin and Joel, without whom I would have been homeless for this entire process.
The amazing video cast/crew: Johnny Russo, Richard Pascal, Courtney Davis, Sean Meehan (www.crossriverpictures.net), Sarah Winglass, Stephen Buckley, Nicole Trauffer, Thais Menendez, Allison Bowen, Timothy J. And the most supportive people in the world: Johnny Ayers, Steph Bibeau, Charlotte Kassimir, Richard Pascal, Tim Flach, Emily Cooper, Linda Murad & Shelly Zuckerman -- who never let a day pass without saying "How's The Tuck doing?"

Risks and challenges
So, as we mentioned before our manufacturer overseas requires a minimum order of 15,000 packs of Tucks-- it's an expensive order, but hopefully with your help we will make it! Since our order depends on being fully funded, we will only be able to place it when we have full funding. When we do, we will place it IMMEDIATELY! The lead time for the factory is 100 days so you should anticipate the arrival of your gift three/four months after you have donated. If you have ordered shirts/totes they will come around the same time. Some of the more fun gifts like the "BTS lover," meeting with Mother Tucker, "The Designer", etc. will be redeemable only a month after the campaign ends!
...And the happy jig video will come only a week after the campaign!
..... Oh and that tattoo? Well I'll probably muster up the courage to get it some time around January.
We cannot thank you enough for your support- it means the world to us! We hope to have a Tuck on every belt by 2020 and you are making that effort a reality! Go Tuck yourselves, everyone.
