We are the Procession and we would like to thank you for visiting our Kickstarter page!
Over the past four months, we have been in the process of producing our debut EP. As of now, we have finished writing and recording all five tracks. Four are original worship songs, and the fifth is a new arrangement of an old hymn. Since February, we have been working day in and day out in the studio to arrange and record these songs, and we are proud to say that we have just finished our last recording session on the EP.
We’re incredibly excited about producing these songs and sharing them with you. We have really invested ourselves into this project as we commit to creating a record that is musically innovative and lyrically genuine. In addition, we’ve been able to produce songs at a professional level while keeping our production costs at a minimum.
At this point, the only things left to do are to mix, master and print the EP. We are looking to have this done professionally to ensure that the songs you guys get sound as good as they possibly can. We need $3,000 in order to cover these final costs on the project.
Shortly after the completion of this EP, we will be heading up to Hume Lake Christian Camps to lead worship for high school students. We hope to see God use our music this summer to minister to students’ lives as we lead worship for over 10,000 campers.
Once again, we cannot thank you enough for taking the time out of your busy lives to look at our project. We hope that you can partner with us as we seek to bless God and bless people through our music.
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge in the production of the EP is meeting our approaching deadline. We need to have the albums in our hands by May 26th when we head up to Hume.
However, even with our tight deadline, we are currently on schedule to complete the album on time, and even have a few weeks of wiggle room to account for production delays.
Furthermore, we are in the process of designing shirts and merchandise, which also have to be ready by the time we head up to Hume. Any money that we raise beyond our EP costs will go to creating shirts, hats, tanks, stickers, and any other merchandise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
