LightSail Tests Successful

Late breaking news from AFRL: LightSail 2 passed it's "aliveness test" this afternoon (more to come on this important moment!), putting a big smile on the face of Program Manager, Dr. Bruce Betts. This comes on the heels of other good news covered by Jason Davis in his recent blog on the mission review and dress rehearsal at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo earlier this month.

NEA Scout unfurls solar sail for full-scale test
