Just a quick update today while we are in the pre-launch period for LightSail.

Engineers install LightSail 2 in its P-POD. From left: Alicia Johnstone, David Pignatelli, and Stephanie Wong.

First, check out Jason Davis' recently updated blog on LightSail's integration process, step one at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and step two at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Originally posted in March, we've added AFRL photographs to the blog that were just cleared this week by the Air Force for publication.

Second, we are surveying members and backers about their interest in on-site events at Cape Canaveral for the launch of LightSail. If you backed the project at the "Let's Party at the Launch" level or higher, you don't need to answer this survey as you are already "on the list" for these activities! Also, if you've already answered this survey from the email we started sending to members yesterday, please don't answer a second time.

Go LightSail!

I'd like to attend the launch! Can I apply for backer pass?
