The Phantom Broadcast is an independent progressive rock project with 5 core members and a rotating cast of talented players & collaborators that has spanned the better part of a decade. The project has seen multiple iterations and evolutions, stabilizing in its current form to deliver a dense texture of intricately composed and intimately performed works. We are self-managed, self-produced, and self-funded, which is why we're asking for your help.
Antiquities was tracked, mixed, and mastered entirely out of pocket over the course of nearly 2 years. It has been, at times, an emotional process- a labor of love- and our wish is for this full work to exist in a fixed, aesthetically pleasing medium. We released what was referred to as the first volume of Antiquities (Side A of the full sequenced record) digitally on April 26th, 2019, primarily as promotion for this campaign, which will serve as a means to deliver to you the entire record in the form we feel it truly deserves.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will aid us in funding the pressing, printing, packaging, and shipping & handling of the full studio sequence of Antiquities. The monetary goal of $3,000 would yield 250 vinyl records in gate-fold jackets, 100 t-shirts with the design you can see below, and physical prints of additional album artwork, all of which will be limited edition and primarily sold by pre-order to you, should you choose to aid us in the final stage of this production.

All digital downloads will be accompanied by the above picture, as well as a package of behind-the-scenes photos and videos documenting some of the brevity, a few crucial choices, and the intimately mundane moments from the recording process of Antiquities. Our only hope is to share some measure of the intense feeling embedded within the making of this record with you.
Thank you so, so much for reading, viewing, listening, contributing- however you choose to interact with this project- again, we thank you.
Risks and challenges
Being a self-funded indie group, a production of this magnitude would not be without its risks and challenges. We do not profit off of shipping & handling prices. The prices listed on both the items themselves and the shipping are based entirely around the operating rates of Pirate Press, UPS, and ULINE. All the proceeds from this campaign will go directly towards manufacturing and distribution. In order to ensure the proper shipping method, and that you receive your items safe and sound, we take independent responsibility to obtain the mailer packaging, calculate accurate shipping costs, and put forth the time and effort to get our products delivered to your doorstep safely and efficiently.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
