So much is happening... as always ;)
Tomorrow I am off to China! OMG! I can't believe it!
I will be pitching to 300-500 Chinese investors in the cities of Chengdu and Chongqing. (Monday to Friday, 19-14th of Sept)
We have released a basic version of Sharks in the Park in China and it will be interesting to see how it will be received.
So to give you a brief overview of where we're at:
We have been selected as finalists for the New Zealand Innovation Hero Awards in the category of Innovation Excellence in Research.
We have also been nominated for the New Zealander of the year award, which can also be a team ;) We're stoked about that!
I'm sorry to say we had to put the Kickstarter rewards on hold in order to focus on our product Magical Park, which is right now our only game that is making money. We have done a successful hand over to our new sales agent NZ Recreation Association and they will from now on manage all New Zealand wide Magical Park sales. The New Zealand council Magical Park trials have come to an end on the 10th of Sept. We have already had 4 subscriptions for Magical Parks, which is AWESOME and an interested council in Germany ;)
We also shot a new promo video for Magical Park, now that it's taking off. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look! https://youtu.be/STD1MF51PTw
Amie and I also did a talk at the NZGDC gaming conferences. We talked about journey so far and how we have funded our business. If you would like to know what you have missed, here is the link: https://youtu.be/FiTtDFiSZLA
Because we still haven't managed to secure any investment (yet), we have to focus on Magical Park right now to ensure money is coming through the door.
Amie has got 10 levels finished for Sharks in the Park, but we haven't had a chance to run proper testing sessions yet. So please be patient and we'll try and get you a staged release for your feedback.
Meanwhile I hope you are as excited as we are about our progress.
Have a great week,
