The Last Good Country is a drama about the origins of Ernest Hemingway and his transformation into one of the greatest writers/icons the world has ever known. His dark journey through the Michigan wilderness has played a crucial part in shaping his identity and how the world eventually views him.
WHO WE ARE
We are a collaborative of artists that have an immense passion for storytelling and film. We all live and breathe the projects we create, and it's what gives us the energy to live. All of us are long time college friends and collaborators, this project will be the last one based out of our Chicago home. This fall, most of our crew will be branching out across the country to persue some amazing film opportunities. While Chicago will always be our home, we have to say goodbye (temporarily) and want to make our final film here, one for the books.
CAST AND CREW
Our cast and crew is comprised of some very talented artists, all with seasoned backgrounds. Individually each has made several short films and music videos. This past year alone we've created a feature film and over 50 episodes of national television.
Aidan Brezonick - Writer/Director
T.J. Connor - Producer
Chris Birkmeier - Cinematographer
Nic Collins - Ernest Hemingway
