10 backers pledged $916 to help bring this project to life.

This concert explores the struggles of love and musical life in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries through music and first-hand writings. It is the debut performance of The Hyperion Singers and embodies our commitment to enhancing musical performance by placing it in a broader artistic and historical context.

The program includes solo works and duets by Handel, Monteverdi, Strozzi and Vivaldi as well as readings of letters by some of the composers. The accounts of these extraordinary individuals inspire a deeper understanding and greater appreciation of their music. It also represents our personal artistic journeys and the belief in innovative approaches to this worthy and timeless music.

We are seeking funding through to cover the costs of renting the venue and promoting the concert. In addition we are seeking funding to cover the involvement of fantastic collaborators. This funding is integral to making this concert a reality as well as to ensuring the success of The Hyperion Singers going forward.
