First shipment shipped!

Posted by Small Wonder Toys (Creator)

To everyone who requested first shipment: expect a package! If you haven't received your Humble Velocipede already, it should arrive by the end of this week or early next! International backers, yours will take a bit longer. We would love to hear your reactions and see pictures of Velocipedes in the wild, which you can post on our Facebook page.

To everyone else: hold tight! We plan to ship the rest out on December 20th.

It's been a crazy week at Small Wonder HQ. Thank you all for your continued support. We love you.

Eagerly awaiting my Humble Velocipede... Are there tracking numbers available for the international orders?

Hi guys! Neal is exactly right, wood tables and floors are ideal. We are also pros at making them walk, and you will become much better as you experiment a bit. Applying some downward pressure usually helps as well. Your velocipede should walk better over time with use, too.

Same problem as Gabriel but I think it might just be because of the surfaces I am using it on; in the video they used smoother, rougher surfaces with traction. I am using stone floors which are slippery, that's most likely the problem

The Humble Velocipede is beautiful. That said, mine doesn't appear to roll as freely as those in your videos. It tends to take a couple steps and get stuck. Is there anything I can do? Have you added graphite or oil? Should I expect it to be smoother after more usage?

Received it today and it's really well done. If anything, it's nicer than I expected. For a small team like you guys to pull this off without a hitch is quite an achievement. You should be proud!

Guys, this is incredible. It looks so good. I know I said I wanted to paint mine, but I can't now. Its a work of art! Thank you guys so much for all of your hard work, and late nights gluing pieces together.

This is one of the most creative and original projects on Kickstarter. I've gotta say this is the best of all the projects I've backed!
