The Greenest Tee is soft like cotton and cool like linen. It’s highly breathable, stretchy and sits on your body without sagging. It’s low maintenance and odour free, so all you have to do is wear it!
Not many people know that it takes 3000 litres of water to make a regular cotton t-shirt. That’s a lot of water.
The Greenest Tee uses less than 1% of that.
We created the Greenest Tee using our revolutionary fabric - ECOLITE™, a unique blend of two natural fibres that is biodegradable, compostable and sustainable. In other words, 100% planet friendly.
We took our cues from nature – in nature, there is no concept of waste.
Everything is food for another organism or system. How efficient is that?
Nature is super smart.
The time has come to rethink the way all products are produced and how they affect the planet.
Climate change is real and it’s happening now.
Kusaga Athletic is a young company with a great story and a unique proposition. We want to make it harder for people to ignore climate change and easier to do something about it.
Our plant-based clothing is the positive choice you can make today for the future of the planet.
It really is as simple as choosing to pull on a planet-friendly tee, knowing you are part of a movement that cares enough to make a difference.
To recognise you are one of the founding members of our global movement, every shirt is tagged with our specially designed embroidered logo - the greenest tee.
We developed the Greenest Tee using ECOLITE™ to be the better alternative to cotton - one of the thirstiest and most chemically sprayed crops in the world.

Like most people, we didn’t know that it can take 3000 litres of water to make just one cotton t-shirt. That sounds like a lot right? Well, it is a lot.
Our Story of the Greenest Tee short film explains more ...
So, can the humble t-shirt help save the planet? Well …
And what if those 2 billion t-shirts were made from ECOLITE™, a planet friendly material that uses rotational, sustainable crops that are rain-fed and grown with minimal intervention, using advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure the lowest possible impact on the environment?
Imagine the difference that could make.
It’s highly likely you will buy a new t-shirt sometime this year … so choose The Greenest Tee and be part of our global movement. Together we might just save the planet.
The greenest tee design has a stylish relaxed look, perfect for kicking back at the café or lazing around the house.
If you want to be more active, you won’t need another shirt to hit the road for a run or to stretch out on the yoga mat.
Let’s face it we’re all sensitive souls, so the Greenest Tee is also hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial and has zero odour retention.
That’s right, ZERO. We’ve tested these tees in all types of conditions - winter in Europe, summer in Asia, whilst riding bikes, hiking mountains and running bush tracks … whatever we’ve tested, they’ve passed the sniff test – they don’t smell.
The female tee is designed for an active lifestyle, perfectly at home in the yoga studio, your favourite cafe or enjoying the outdoors. The tee features a comfortable neckline, capped sleeves and fitted waist making it both easy to wear and ready for a workout.
The male tee is a versatile garment and we believe it will quickly become your favourite t-shirt. The fabric delivers the expected performance during exercise, the comfort you want as an everyday item and you can wear it under a shirt to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.

Kusaga Athletic will change the way you think about your clothing.
Our Kusaga Athletic journey began two years ago in Asia. As athletes and fathers we were concerned about the environment and went looking for a way to make a difference … we honestly didn’t know where to start.
Realistically, how can a single person make a difference to something so big?
We discovered the opportunity in the clothes we wear everyday. We began researching fabrics and clothing manufacturing to understand where improvements could be made, then set about creating a sustainable alternative.
We know other people are concerned enough about the planet to want to do something … and we believe that if more people knew of the alternatives and that if one person made a better choice and then another and another, well, we might just start a movement.
It's never easy to challenge the status quo and cause change in a well-established industry, but thanks to our partnerships with leading mills, suppliers and manufacturers in Europe, the US and Asia, we achieved the first part of our dream; the creation of four sustainable fabrics that match or outperform existing fabrics, with minimal impact to the planet during their lifecycle.
Our future fabrics:
We are working with long-term environmental organisations Earth Hour Global and the World Wildlife Fund as official apparel partners.
Kusaga Athletic is also supplying clothing to several leading event companies focussed on limiting their impact on the planet like Evergreen Endurance.
Graham Ross and Matt Ashcroft.
The business partnership began when Matt challenged Graham to compete at the Great Wall Marathon in China.
If you want to form a bond with someone, 5000 ancient steps and 42 sweltering kilometres is a pretty good place to start. That experience changed both of them. It set in motion a series of events that had them questioning their own personal direction and also the future of the planet.
Professionally they both have solid international business experience and have lived and worked in a number of countries. Matt is a keen sportsman competing in a variety of running and triathlon events throughout Asia. He is passionate about green practices and the opportunity to transform current consumer behaviour for positive change.
Graham has founded four privately-owned media companies and has over 20 years experience creating original, owned TV programs and in co-production with major broadcasters and media companies worldwide. He brings real world athletic experience to the boardroom as a multi discipline endurance athlete completing Ironman triathlons, extreme marathons and open water swimming events in Europe, Asia and Australia.
