About

ONE DOLLAR MINIMUM PLEDGE! That's as low as you'll find.

Jack (Jeff Berndt of Waterford) is tasked rather suddenly to train a new class of spies when this country finds the old methods of recruiting foreigners becomes too risky and expensive. Training greenhorn spies in Michigan, discovering secret weapons and subversives, picking his daughter Christy (Natalie Miller of Rochester Hills) up from school in an urban assault vehicle - what's not to like?

An original webseries set in Michigan. Get the series completed!

A big reason JACK UZI is being done is the turnout in response to auditions. We received over 300 responses to our two casting calls last October, which led to a little over 120 roles being filled for the planned run of 24 13-minute episodes. The reason for the interest is that we furnished comprehensive script material instead of keeping everything under wraps. Everyone who read the script samples wanted to participate.

Since we had a large following built up among the auditioners and cast, we ran a great charity fundraiser in late January for the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. Many of the development team on the project are volunteers for other local events and we wanted to make a positive impact where we are filming, in SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN. I believe the community we have built among the cast and crew can really get somewhere with this.

Length. 13 minutes x 8 episodes per season.

Originating Format. HD Genre (+ 2nd Genre). Action Adventure (Comedy) Country-of-Origin. USA Original Language. English Budget US$13000 or less per episode. Seeking funding and distribution for $100k/season. This project goes toward miniatures, properties and the effects budget for the first season.

We intend to run short campaigns for portions of the episodes, not long campaigns for portions of the season.

In recognition of the commitments our cast and crew, we invite backing from everyone they know - and are not seeking executive buyouts!

DVD copy of the first season of 'the Adventures of Jack Uzi' - Somewhere in the Neighborhood of Absolute Evil. This will not be available anywhere else before secondary funding is secured! We want to see ten percent of this episode's budget hit before we even walk up to anyone for the rest. In return for this pledge, you receive a numbered voucher good for a special edition fully packaged DVD of the first EIGHT episodes of the series. While the first half of the season might be seen online, you'll never see more than this without us backing the full season and here is how you can be a part. PLEASE NOTE that the crowdfund runs serially. If you have backed any successful JACK UZI project in the past, you are ALREADY in line to get a copy and unless you want another copy, you do not have to pledge for this campaign. Rewards for JACK UZI will always be in copy. JACK UZI is in production for an August 2011 online premier of its first episode.
