First, the stretch goals that we're doing for The Captain Is Dead are the only stretch goals we would have done had this not been a bundle. There wouldn't have been more stretch goals. Therefore nobody will be missing out on anything because of a couple extra stretch goals for the other games.
Second, the reason we do this isn't just to sell games. We are a very community driven company. Our goal is to promote new game designers and show off the talents of folks who may never otherwise be seen. So while it looks like the focal point of this campaign is The Captain Is Dead, in reality for us the focal point is promoting the community through the bundle.
The Captain Is Dead is our anchor game for the bundle, hence why it's name is on the KS and why it is getting the lion's share of the stretch goals. However, what is important to us is to elevate fledgling designers. As a small company we don't have the resources to run individual campaigns for each game, so instead we do these bundles. That lack of resources might cause us to lose a few backers who feel that we're diluting the campaign by including stretch goals for 3 games. But in the end, we've brought 2 additional talented designers out of the shadows. To us, that's worth the risk.
