Hello awesome backers!

Let us start with a quick update - we are almost 75% funded and on good path to reach our goal by the end of September. As soon as that happens we’ll order the journals to get printed! This will get them in your hands even sooner.

And btw, we are also getting ready to dance.

In this update we would like to introduce to you our talented photographer friend Olivia, who took all of our photos.

Meet Olivia Sari Goerlach

Olivia has a great eye for capturing moments in time and space. The main characteristic of her photography is the way she uses light to emphasize details (or hide them) and the way she uses colours in contrast with an almost monochromatic background.

Her main focus is on food photography. You should check her instagram feed and you’ll be blown away.

Olivia is involved with our coworking community and she has been part of the Focus Journal team from the beginning.

With her husband Benny she runs MNSTR gallery, a creative art studio mainly dedicated to graphic art. We are exhibiting some of the artists they are working with a L'Atelier.

Being grateful

We are grateful for Olivia’s contribution and how she managed to visually represent what our journal is all about, even when all we have so far are prototypes! We are also grateful for all of our backers showing support and excitement about our work.

Project we like

We'd like to feature another Canadian project by our friends from Toronto. Anna and Lindy created affirmation cards for children to help them develop an unshakeable sense of self-worth, self-love and self-confidence. Check out their campaign!
