Introducing the third season of the acclaimed fantasy comedy One Hit Die!
Bigger in every way—thanks to partial production funding from Telus—this web television series levels up as our roleplaying heroes explore The Devouring Dungeon in search of the mythical fountain of experience.
This Fantasy Network series is brought to you by… YOU, the fans and funders who make independent content possible!
We are the producers of films and shows like The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, Mythica, The Rangers, JourneyQuest, The Outpost, and more. Now we’ve joined forces to create and support fan-funded, independent fantasy from around the world.
One Hit Die Season 3 is The Fantasy Network’s first funding collaboration. An award-winning gaming comedy series from Canada, the show speaks to what we love about fantasy: huge imagination, compelling characters, and a drive to push the limits of independent production.
One Hit Die is a fantasy comedy genre mashup of “Lord of the Rings” and “The Office”. It’s irreverent, self-aware, and hilarious.
In season one, the heroes begin their quest to obtain the Orb of Maldova.
Cassandra, the Paladin, believes she is the Chosen One and with the Orb she can prevent the impending doom threatening their realm.
Unfortunately for Cassandra the party she put together isn’t exactly top notch. The Wizard is constantly drunk, the Fighter kills everything (and we mean everything), and the Rogue is more obsessed with his experience points than actually finding the orb.

Still looking for the orb in Season 2, the party stumbles upon a Druid whose entire order has been murdered by the evil wizard Nerrena and her minions. Nerrena, who also wishes to obtain the orb as it belongs to the Lich Lord she brought into the realm, hunts the party down.
Now, the adventurers think they’re ready to face the Devouring Dungeon...to find the mythical Fountain of Experience.
They’re not ready.
They’ll probably die horribly.

Season 3 completed principal photography in April of 2018. Now, we need to cover post-production expenses to get this epic adventure delivered. Your pledges will help pay the editor, composer, colorist, and sound designers—basically, the people who take raw footage and make it look and sound gorgeous.
Your support not only helps One Hit Die complete post production, but shows that an active and empowered fan base is eager to keep the story alive. With your help, we’ll premiere One Hit Die Season Three at Gen Con Indy in August, stream straight to your eyeballs (via Telus in Canada and The Fantasy Network everywhere else), and help introduce new viewers to an awesome gaming comedy!
While this is our first campaign as The Fantasy Network, as Arrowstorm Entertainment, Zombie Orpheus Entertainment, and The Forge Studios we’ve fulfilled dozens of Kickstarter campaigns…and we know how important incredible, unique rewards are!
What’s new and awesome about this campaign is that it includes more than One Hit Die. If you back at $25 or higher, you’ll receive a subscription to The Fantasy Network, which will let you stream ALL our shows on your desktop or via our iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, and Roku apps.
Catch up on The Gamers. Binge all five Mythica films or the complete Standard Action series. Enter the world of The Rangers and Strowlers. Be the first to stream our new releases, plus get access to our incredible fan community forums, Discord server, wiki, and more!
New to One Hit Die? Want to complete your collection? We’ll offer DVDs and BLURAYS of Seasons 1 & 2 in BackerKit when the campaign ends. You’ll be able to add and pay for them during the survey, so don’t worry about adding funds now.
We will charge for all shipping after the campaign in BackerKit. In order for your rewards to ship, you will need to pay shipping fees at that time.
Do NOT add shipping fees to your pledge now.
International Backers: expect to pay less than $9.00 USD in BackerKit for shipping on the basic $50 reward.
Domestic Backers: expect to pay less than $5.00 USD in BackerKit for shipping on the basic $50 reward.
We will fulfill this campaign via our partners at Ship Naked.
In order to keep Kickstarter funds focused on supporting the production of One Hit Die, any funds added in excess of your pledge during this campaign will be treated as a contribution to improve the quality of the show and will not count as BackerKit credit. Funds received during this campaign cannot be applied to shipping or add-ons.
Example: if someone pledges $70 for the $50 level, the extra $20 will go straight into improving the show. That backer would not receive $20 of credit to spend in BackerKit.

Risks and challenges
This is a low-risk campaign. The hardest part, actual production, is already complete. Barring a catastrophic data loss, the only major risk is that creative works can sometimes face delays in order to make the final product perfect.
Our team has fulfilled dozens of crowdfunding campaigns (via ZOE, Arrowstorm, and The Forge), has strong existing relationships with trusted vendors, artists, and manufacturers to source our rewards, and knows how to see a campaign from inception to final delivery.
While risks come with any crowdfunding initiative, we’re confident that our track record speaks for itself.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
