BELTS ARE BACK! Belts haven't changed since their creation which means #beltproblems haven't been fixed either. People would find themselves "between" belt holes and conventional leather belts would rip or become stretched out with use.
In 2015, I put together a small team and created B E L T | L I N E.
Our solution was to create a better belt. We designed a belt that would be fully adjustable and stretch with movement. Lastly we wanted it to be a stylish product that allowed people to accessorize with a splash of color.
Kickstarter we need your support so we can bring down our manufacturing costs, build out our online store and start expanding into select retail spots. Most importantly we want to bring this product to market so you can actually own one.

B E L T | L I N E - FEATURES
Our goal was to make a belt that avoided conventional leather belt problems. Ex 1. - using stretch rayon so your belt won't rip or strangle your waist when you bend down. Ex 2. having a weave strap so one belt hole doesn't get stretched out and mangled. Here are a few of our great features:
If all goes according to plan, we will start manufacturing in early August and ship mid-September. After we ship to our backers, we will launch our online retail store.
Once the Kickstarter finishes, we will send out a survey that asks our backers about sizing and color preference.
Nautical bracelets. We also created a "wrist belt" reward to help you accessorize. Brushed with 23Karat gold, these bracelets will make you look like you thought about what you wore today.
The Beginning: In 1988, the city of Toronto converted a 9km stretch of the Belt Line Railway, into the Beltline Trail. The Beltline was a cycling and running path that passed through our childhood neighborhood and was a place to walk our family dog Nolan.
After a brainstorming session with my sister "the creative one," we decided that the Beltline Trail was a big part of our childhood, played into our concept and also gave a "shout out" to our roots in Toronto. This is how we named B E L T | L I N E.

Risiken und Herausforderungen
Well to start... so many challenges.
Assuming we can fund this thing, we have to work hard to coordinate our belt/bracelet manufacturer and packaging manufacturer to work seamlessly with our shipping and fulfillment company.
We will also have to monitor product quality and consistency across our whole product line to ensure that our backers get their product as advertised.
We have very clear lines of communication between all of the people we are working with so I'm pretty confident we can pull it off. Fingers crossed.

These belts are currently designed for men and women!

We haven't released a sizing chart yet but are planning on sizes ranging from a 28-inch waist to a 40-inch waist. We will also have a special order section for those who have bigger or smaller waistlines.
