We have been working on our current album, 'Multi Goods & Services,' for close to 3 years. Work, families, children, school, and other activities make recording sessions few and far between, but we have managed to piece it all together and make an album that we can be proud of. We are a family band and love spending time together making music, and we've tried to capture that love in our recording.
We would like to raise enough money to have someone master our recording and to cover the costs of a promotional campaign. To get college radio stations to play the music and get it to people's ears (as well as to get print and online reviews), a promotional campaign is needed. We have neither the time nor the connections to do this on our own, that is why we need your help so that we can hire people that will do it right.
We have been through this process before and wish we could cover the costs on our own again, but it is becoming harder and harder to find money to do this on account of our growing families, school, and the normal costs of living. If we happen to raise more than our $2,500 goal we plan on putting that money towards having someone properly mix the album, and possibly toward pressing the album on vinyl (something we've always wanted but have never been able to afford to do). This would be an additional $1,500, so any additional donations would be greatly appreciated even if we happen to reach our initial $2,500 goal.
