The 442s have set out to make the best possible recording that we can. Since the sonic palette of our acoustic instruments is so intricate, capturing these textures requires the right people and facilities. We will be recording in December 2013 at the state-of-the-art Shock City Studios with master audio engineer, Paul Hennerich, of the St. Louis Symphony and Pan Galactic Company.
Intent on providing our listeners with as rich and complete an experience as possible, we have commissioned artist, James Walker, to create album artwork and packaging that will bring a unique and beautiful visual element to the project.
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge in any recording project is accurately translating the performance from the live space to your speakers. By securing the expertise of our first-class recording engineer, Paul Hennerich, and booking ample time to record in St. Louis’ prime facility, Shock City Studios, we feel that we will make a recording that captures the nuance of the music as well as the brilliance of the players and instruments.
Our collaboration with graphic design artist, James Walker, has yielded fantastic results in every facet of this project so far. We look forward to partnering with him as he crafts the look of our CD artwork, packaging, posters and t-shirts in preparation for our Spring 2014 album release.
We do not foresee complications in releasing our album in March 2014 due to the exemplary reputations and significant experience that our recording partners bring to the project. In the unlikely event that complications arise within the project timeframe, album release or rewards fulfillment, we will contact you immediately to arrange suitable reconcilement.
Your generosity in helping us share our music with the greater world is greatly appreciated. We thank you so much for your thoughtful consideration of this exciting project!
Thank You So Much For Your Support!
