We stand by all of the products that we make with a (1) year warranty from any manufacturing defects that DO NOT include normal wear and tear.
We ship all international orders DDU (delivered duty unpaid), and we do not collect VAT (value added taxes) and they CANNOT be marked as gifts. That is illegal. All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the package. No refunds will be issued for these fees.
Depending on your country, your package may incur local customs or VAT charges that we are unable to prepay or even predict. In some countries rejected packages are not returned to us and are disposed of by DHL. If you reject the package because of the fees and it is not returned to us, you will NOT be entitled to a refund. If the package is returned to us we will issue a product refund once we receive it.
We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information regarding your country's custom policies. For international customers who are required to pay customs, you will receive an email from First Mile (our shipper), or your local customs authorities asking for payment to have your order processed through customs. Unfortunately, there is no legal way around customs. Once you make that payment to the customs broker your order will be processed for final delivery.
Once your order ships you will be notified via email and be updated with a tracking number/link to follow. When you receive your tracking number, please stay updated on the scans and please note that some scans take time to update. We use a shared post shipping method to have your order delivered at an affordable price. Your order will ship out from our warehouse in Lindon, UT.
Your order will be handled by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL up to entry of your country. Once your order enters your country your order will be handed off to your local post office for final delivery. International transit will have an ETA of 5-21 Business day delivery time depending on your country. U.S Domestic shipments will take an ETA of 1-5 business days.
If our shipping carrier attempts delivery to you and you don't get it because you’re not there, wrong address, moved without notifying us, and the package returns back to our warehouse, it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay the shipping fee to reship the order. When you receive your tracking number, please stay updated on the scans and estimated delivery.
Risks and challenges
With this being our forth Kickstarter and the growth we have experienced in the past year we are very confident with the team we have now and the factory lineup that supports us. That being said, we 100% understand that there will be shortcomings during the manufacturing of a new product. Having an office and team in China has given us a lot more ground to stand on for us to accomplish the ship date we have.
