Charmed and Dangerous: The Sisters Grimm is a cooperative, adventure card game that gives 1-4 players the chance to take on the role of a classic fairy tale Princess, reimagined as a RPG style adventurer. You and your friends can choose to face a different Villainess and her amassed Forces of Evil each time you play.
Once the adventure begins, you and your fellow Princesses will explore bramble-thorn forests, sinister dungeons and labyrinthine castles in your quest to uncover and defeat the Villainess and save the realm!
The classic princesses of myth, legend and fairy tale have been reimagined as powerful and diverse RPG heroes. Each Princess has different skills, facets and special abilities that makes her unique and changes the game each time you play. During the adventure, you can find rare artifacts, spells, magical attacks and even a dashing Charming to assist you on your adventure.
Each Villainess can be paired with one of the “Forces of Evil” decks that come with a themed Lair. Each FoE deck is filled with monsters, traps and curses that you will have to defeat as you proceed through the game.
From its inception, Charmed and Dangerous has been about inclusion and representation. Our goal was not only to create a game with an all-Princess cast reimagined as classic, RPG style adventurers, but also to create a diverse family of heroines. It was critical to us that underrepresented people of the gaming community be able to see a reflection of themselves in the heroines of Charmed and Dangerous. Whether it is their race, heritage, sexual orientation or gender identity, our Princesses do not shy away from letting the world see exactly who they are and where they came from. And while we only launched with a small set of Princesses, please know that we have many more in the works and are dedicated to expanding the breadth of our representation.

Shipping will be charged separately from the Kickstarter via our Pledge Manager, after the campaign ends. We expect to be closing the Pledge Manager in late June, early July.
Depending on where you live, the actual shipping cost will be somewhere between 8.00 USD and 12.00 USD, before accounting for VAT and Import Taxes.
Depending on the VAT rates in your country, you can expect to pay:
- Retail Edition: Between 28.00 and 35.80 USD
- Premium Edition: Between 38.00 and 47.70 USD
The above two price ranges INCLUDE THE PRICE OF THE GAME + S&H + VAT.
Risks and challenges
We believe in Charmed and Dangerous so much that the game has already been sent to the printers and is in production. No matter how this Kickstarter performs, we will be taking this game to full completion and release. And, barring a natural disaster, the core game and most of the add-ons will ship on time!
Our first expansion, “Fairest in the Land” (which is part of our stretch goals) is fully art complete! However, we are still in the midst of playtesting the new mechanic before the final version is sent to press after the campaign completes. You will have the option to receive the core game early and ship the expansion when it becomes available, or opt to have all of your rewards shipped together.
