About this project
Special 24 remaining stretch Goal!!! £3500
Terra Incognita will be a Classic, retro inspired, turn based Role Playing Game. Remember the early Final Fantasy games? Or Suikoden 2? Well, I loved those games too. And there are not enough good Indie retro inspired RPG games! So let's make one!

Character Sprites ~
Battle system teaser, still in development, constantly getting better.
£800 DONE~ Legendary weapons built by the community, I will provide a template, you send in your designs. The community vote for the winners. They go in game as a weapon set. Maybe for armour/equipment too?
£1000 DONE ~ Collectable pets can be found throughout the game and in sidequests or secret/hidden areas. Not for use in usual battles but only in the pet arena. Level up pet abilities by fighting them and earn extra items, wepaons and abilities for normal characters.
£1500 DONE ~ A museum that the player can actually enter in game, it will display fan made art and music from all those old school/retro jRPG/RPGs that we all loved playing.
£1700 DONE ~ Extra costumes for characters, unlocked through side quests and other in other ways. Costumes boost certain abilities AND/OR statistics. Separate from equipment.
£2000 Done ~ A special type of Dragon Pet for use when traversing the world map! Can also be used in the Pet Battle Arena!
£2500 ~ I will hire an additional staff member to help with game content, testing etc The game will include things that we plan on releasing as free updates/dlc. More people working on the game = a better game/more content for hardcore jRPG/RPG fans!
Included in Enhanced Game! ~ Battles on the world map, not the usual random battle encounters. I'm talking small army battles with different units. Remember Suikoden 2? but we'd put our own spin on this obviously. Some will be story critical, some will be side quest!
£4500 ~ The game will be released on Mac/Linux and Android. Xbox is something we want to do, but because of the next gen change over, we are not 100% sure if it is still possible.
£6000 ~ This is it! This is our dream platform! The GCW ZERO baby!
This awesome tech was recently hugely successful on Kickstarter.
It is an open source retro gaming handheld console.

If funded, the game will be finished by December 2013, if it gets released early I will let everyone know. Pledges will receive the game one week early.

By backing this project you are helping the game development itself. I will need to pay for music/sound effects in the game as well as some graphical content.
You will receive additional extras depending on how much you pledge.
Lets do this together!

Risks and challenges
I will finish the game if the funding is met, It is not a lot of money. It will literally cover the costs of development.
I will also work my $%* to make sure the game is fun and creates that feeling of nostalgia.
