- Everyone who funds $10 or more will get the audio presentation: Loyola: A New Story of the Jesuits Militant (this story is an audio exclusive and cannot be purchased as a paperback or ebook)
- Everyone who funds $25 or more will get an ebook of my next novel at least a month before the drop date.
I do like reading. I have thousands and thousands of books. But my favorite way to consume books—especially fiction—has always been in audio form, preferably read by the author. In fact, I've been enjoying books this way so long that I instinctively still call them "books on tape."
When I signed a multi-book deal with HarperCollins Christian Fiction a few years ago, I was a little bummed that they didn't come out with an audio version of either Playing Saint or The Last Con. But, at the same time, I knew that non-big-name authors are rarely allowed to read their own work, and I was nervous about someone else inflecting it all wrong. When Gut Check Press released Playing Saint: All Souls' Day, I really wanted to produce an audio version, but it seemed silly to have an audio book of the sequel but not the original.
So when Thomas Nelson was kind enough to revert the audio rights of my books to me, I decided to RUN WITH IT and create audio books for all my fiction. With a background in radio and a ton of experience in podcasting (as well as having served as sound engineer on two audio books), I'm pretty well positioned to get it done, but I will need a little bit of a kick-start for one piece of equipment and a bit of a production library.
I appreciate your interest in my books and am excited to deliver you the audio as each book is finished.
