      Hi Mike,

We have put together a diagram that might assist with this query.

      https://s23.postimg.org/hn4fd3h7v/Pasted_image_at_2017_01_16_10_38_AM.png

As shown, using the lightning bolt as a reference, these are the directions that are triggered by the mover.
we recommend you don't try and use them all at the same time, as the sensors are very sensitive and can trigger more than one direction at a time.
To experiment how to trigger these sensors, create 1 animation per direction, one at a time.

      All the best,
      Tech Will Save Us

      Hi!

Playing around with the kids. How are the sensors working?

Up and down is obvious and working.
We have troubles with front, back, left and right. Is this detected by holding it upright and turning?

      Thx

Thanks for realising this product and distributing it to backers. Just arrived today, 24 days after being posted on the 6th. Interesting product and my son loves the led interface, but have noticed some significant design flaws that are bound to pop up in the future, such as: why wasn't the clear face enclosure designed using a bayonet or threaded fitting? The silicone strap clasp that holds the whole thing together looks as though it wouldn't last beyond a couple of months. And when it breaks (which it will), there's no way of unscrewing the yellow base to replace it... What the? Surely the micro USB flap could have been ported in the yellow half, to reduce the likeliehood of leaks directly to the pcb. Splash proof? Really? There's a good .1 to .2 of a mill space where the join is, and the fit using the silicone band just seems to have quite a lot of play in it. The bike light app looks good, but I seriously wouldn't place this on the back of a bike for fear of shorting the pcb if the bike was driven through puddles/wet path. I'm sure there was a lot of work in designing the electronics, but the enclosure design just doesn't look like it Is fully resolved in terms of wear and tear, replacement and product longevity...

Great kit, opened on Christmas day. My 11 year old really enjoying seeing what he can do with the make interface, and it's working pretty sell (i.e. he can do it himself although I've been enjoying getting hands-on too!). Have had to reset a few times but it's worked each time. Is there a way for him to save his programmes, and are there plans for a coding forum? (sorry if there already is and I've just missed seeing it)

Hi @AnetaSteve Hart and @David Shory,

Thank you for your feedback. Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to apologise for not being able to get your Mover to you in time for the holidays.

All the Movers were produced in one manufacturing run and shipped at the same time from the factory, both to our retailers and to our fulfilment centers for onward distribution to Kickstarter backers. Different shipping times to the many locations shipped to has resulted in some retailers receiving the goods before we have been able to process and ship all Kickstarter backers’ pledges. We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting these to you.

I too got a "shipment delayed" message - now over 2 months late. This, despite repeated assurances by support that I would receive shipping info shortly and the Mover Kit well in advance of Christmas. There should be a courtesy refund for those delayed beyond Christmas.

    37. AnetaSteve Hart on December 20, 2016

Just got a message from support that my mover kits will not make it in time for Christmas. They say "Due to a very busy festive period, we have been trying to resolve some unexpected stock issues". There are multiple stores that say they have the mover kit in stock. Very disappointing that they shipped to stores before all KS backers got them. I hope there is a simple explanation for this as I was hoping to have them for my kids for Christmas.

Hi @Mark Robinson and @Darren Woods,

Our dev team has been looking at the problems Mark has been facing and made some changes. Could you please retry dragging blocks in Chrome on your laptop using the mouse or the touchpad.

Unfortunately we do not support touch screens as yet for the Mover coding environment - however your mouse should now work - please let us know if that still doesn't work for you and we can investigate further.

      Thank you for your patience.

@Marc Benjamin. I wonder if the issue is client side for the Chrome and Firefox browsers? If you are familiar with the browser dev tools , hit f12 after attempting the drag and drop and take a look in the console tab to see if there are any errors, etc. I have also received my Mover kits, but haven't had the bandwidth to hook everything up yet myself. Once I do I'll definitely be poking around as well.

Similar issues to a few others...

Advertised to work with any computer, but Chromebook/Linux not supported.

Can't drag or drop code blocks in Chrome or Firefox using a mouse, but some intermittent success when using a touchscreen. Can't believe this hasn't been noticed during testing pre-launch.

      Also disappointing:

      1. I had to use pliers to get a decent connection before it would power up.

      2. To access the USB port requires you to undo the clip holding it all together.

      3. There are 3 app slots, but only one can be used to flash your own creations.

It can all be worked around and dealt with in time, except for the almost unusable coding interface - that really needs resolving ASAP.

I've only been able to get this to partially work in Internet Explorer, even then it doesn't always work. One of the biggest disappointments I've backed. Why does this only work in the WORST browser created?
There needs to be more options. The "Set lights to" needs to be more variable. Set Lights to SPIN for 1 seconds, or crazy for 10 seconds, etc.
Turn Lights Off doesn't always seem to work.
When dragging a Light to drop into a If/Loop, it doesn't always allow me to drop it.

There is a button you can push, but it just changes to some random lights. There is nothing you can code for the button push. The "when" section of code should have something for this, or be part of the sensor section.

I hope there will be updates to this.

Let me know if anyone has had any luck in other browsers.

Anyone else having a problem dragging and dropping? Using Windows 8.1. I've tried both Chrome and Firefox and dragging dropping simply doen't work. All it does is highlight the thing I'm trying to drag.
I was able to download a premade one and use it.
      Any suggestions?
