Recent updates

It took a while to get here but finally it is ready! All of the physical book packages are in the mail so this is the last step to getting this Kickstarter wrapped up. There are a couple of kilts still in production but the rest of those packages (t-shirts and books) have been dropped in the mail so that everyone can get them at the same time.

If your reward included an ebook version, you should have received a message from me with the link. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I suspect that all of the regular mail packages will arrive within the early part of next week - so keep an eye out for your book.

Thank you again for all the support on this project.

Almost there!

Wow! Our final photo shoot will be happening in the next few day and the rest of the project is in full swing. I apologize that we are running a bit behind schedule but work has been fast and furious for our small company this year. 305 kilts were hand made at our workshop space and the increased design range was spectacular. There will be a lot of new ideas in this book - I can't wait to share! My hope is to get everything completed and mailed out before the end of March. I will be adding in an address survey in the next few days along with collecting any more info needed to start getting the other rewards out to all you lovely people. Thank you! Jeanie

Rocking and Rolling!

Hi All!

This summer has been flying by but there are some awesome things going on. We have been working really hard on the kilts for this book and for all of our customers. Some very unique creations have been heading out to parts unknown.

Our current schedule is looking really good - and right on time. We are hoping to have the main chunk of detail photos finished up by the end of September. That is also the time frame for getting our step-by-step process photographed and put together. It is going to be an interesting experience to have someone working side by side with me in the shop as I build.

If all the photos get done in time - I would still be looking at a publish/print schedule that has the book out by the end of the year. I am super excited to try and hopefully make the holidays as a soft deadline. I will be sending out backer surveys closer to ship date in order to make sure that the information I collect is current and accurate. I would hate for rewards to go astray!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or idea.

Thanks again!

We did it!

I'll keep this one short and sweet ... Thank you!

We hit our goal at some point this weekend and I am so thrilled to see it happen. The support I have received is awesome and I cannot wait to really get rolling on this project. As Kickstarter proves, I could have only done it with your help.

Since pledges are still coming in, I am working on a possible stretch goal. If you have any ideas, please feel free to send them my way.

Thank you again! -Jeanie

Thank yous and some new rewards!

For only being a few days into this project - I am already overwhelmed by the response. I have had emails and feedback that is priceless and am ever so pleased with the amount raised so far. Thank you so much for the support.

I had decided to add some new rewards of the two book printings without the ebook copy. You can now get the soft-cover version of the Building a Kilt for Your Build with a pledge of $35 and a hardcover copy at $55. Please feel free to adjust your pledge amount or reward choice if this works better for you.

If you have any questions or comment - please shoot me a message. I love getting feedback. Thank you again and please keep sharing and talking about this project. Without your help - it wouldn't happen!
