While I appreciate the update and information about the adjusted schedule, it is almost axiomatic that, while problems with one or maybe two of those texts can reasonably come as a surprise, the number with which you are having issues usually adds up to either insufficient attention during the design stages if not outright bad design. I hope you can treat the added time as an opportunity to do a thorough design review with experienced consumer product design people included and attention paid to things these tests don't look at. If nothing else, the last thing you need is warranty returns after you ship.
Thanks for the communication and update. Hope you manage to find solutions to everything you are working on. Shame about the touch panel, but understandable that buttons are an easier option to meet the requirements.
