The World’s First 20° Baby Sleeping Bags
Available with your choice of certified 800 fill power down or hypoallergenic synthetic insulation, the Morrison Outdoors Baby Sleeping Bags are designed to help parents sleep easier by providing the perfect sleep environment for little ones in cold weather.
Our down-insulated sleep sacks use premium 800 fill power down and overstuffed 2.5" baffles to create a sleeping bag with an estimated 20°F (-7°C) temperature rating.
The Baby Sleeping Bags with Synthetic Fill use a hypoallergenic synthetic insulation to give incredible warmth (still 20° rated) and improved performance while wet.
Safety is our top priority. Our design meets all SAFE sleep guidelines so that we can be your best option for infant safety while camping.
Ultralight (*Down Only)
Babies and toddlers are heavy enough already. Morrison Outdoors Baby Sleeping Bags with Down Fill weigh less than 1 pound each and pack down so small you'll forget you're even carrying them.
Designed to Grow With Your Child
Our patent-pending design connects at the arms and bottom to swaddle young babies, while expanding outward to fit children up to 24 months old. They also zip open from the bottom for easy diaper changes.
Your Best Option for SAFE Baby Sleep in the Outdoors
The Baby Sleeping Bag is designed to meet all AAP SAFE Sleep guidelines. It has no hood or drawstrings, and the arms connect together to swaddle young ones and keep their faces clear and free.
The snug, soft collar keeps babies from slipping inside, while the roll-up bottom shortens the length of the bag for a perfect fit.
Made With The Best Materials
The Morrison Outdoors Baby Sleeping Bag with Down Fill uses only certified top-quality 800 fill power goose down insulation, providing outstanding warmth for minimal weight.
Premium 1.1oz ripstop nylon with baby-safe waterproofing provides excellent accident-resistance while maintaining breathability.
Kids are messy. Both versions of Baby Sleeping Bags are machine-washable but follow slightly different directions. Occasional cleaning with down-safe cleaners will help keep the down-insulated sleeping bag looking brand new.
The Morrison Outdoors Baby Sleeping Bag with Down Fill has more authentic goose down insulation than many expensive adult-sized jackets at a price-per-gram comparable to adult-sized sleeping bags.
The Secret is in the Baffles
Our Baby Sleeping Bags with Down Fill are designed with thick, 2.5" "baffles" (essentially walls between fabric layers). This allows the insulation to expand and trap a substantial amount of heat between your baby and the outside air.
Most snowsuits and jackets are "sewn-through," meaning the two sides of fabric are sewn together with no insulation along the seams.
An oversized draft tube runs directly behind the zipper to keep air from escaping.
Our fully-enclosed footbox keeps little toes at their warmest.
Three Colors Available at Launch
We’ll be offering the Baby Sleeping Bag in Blazing Blue, Racing Red, and Forest Green at launch, with the possibility of additional colors if we exceed our fundraising goal. Back the project today and you’ll be given the option to select your color after the Kickstarter campaigns ends.
Once upon a time, a pediatric nurse named Amber and an Eagle Scout named Tavis fell in love and had a baby named Morrison. Excited to go camping, they searched high and low for something to keep Morrison warm and cozy at night, but found nothing.
So Tavis pulled out his 1970s-era sewing machine and got to work, sewing two down blankets together into the shape of a baby sleep sack. After many months of sewing, stuffing, and hiking, they created a brand-new design to keep babies sleeping comfortably through the night.
Amber and Tavis are proud to introduce the Morrison Outdoors Baby Sleeping Bag: the warmest, safest, and most comfortable option for baby sleep in the outdoors.

Risks and challenges
While we’ve done everything possible to ensure this product is ready to be manufactured and delivered this summer, there are some risks and challenges that we’ll face:
• Fulfillment & Manufacturing (Production Delays): Since this is a new project for
ourselves and for our manufacturer, it may take extended time if unforeseen problems arise in the manufacturing process. To combat this, once full production is started, members of our team will be overseeing production in person to ensure quality control is at the highest possible standards.
• There may be slight variations in the colors based on our transition from the
prototypes used in the photos and video to the final manufactured product.
• Once the product is prepared for shipment, there could be unforeseen delays in processing and delivery that are out of our control.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
