About this project
TaskMyMail is a mix of an email management App and a to-do list App. Its main feature is the ability to add tasks directly from your emails.
250 to 300 billion emails are sent everyday worldwide and an average of 28% of our time is spent on checking emails.
We believe that we can save time.
For these two reasons:
- most of our emails are tasked
- received/sent emails can be lost in the flow of emails we received everyday
TaskMyMail is the first Application to have an Inbox and a Tasks-box on the same screen. Having both at the same place minimises your moves and allows you to have the information you need in one view.
Read emails and tasks done can be checked using the bar with the two tabs at the bottom of the home screen. When activated, the bar comes up while Inbox and Tasks become grey.
Do you send email to yourself in order to remember undone tasks?
With TaskMyMail, you can create tasks in one move directly on your Main Screen by touching the “+” near “Tasks”.
The App is made easy for use: most actions can be made by sliding. For example, a right slide will transform your email into a new task. A left slide will mark your email as read.
Same for the tasks: right slide when task is done and left slide to mark as read email.
Below are the actions called during a left or right slide for “Read emails” and “Tasks done”.
When a task is added from an email, the Application will ask if you want to change the title so it will be easier to recognize the differences. This parameter can be modified in the parameters of the App.
If you decide to make a new task from a sent email, it will appear as a new task with the title «Waiting Reply». As soon as you get an answer, the title will change to «Reply Received» and the task will be brought to the top of the list.
That’s an easy way to remember what you asked for.
When you’ve reach the point where all your emails have been read and all your tasks have been done. You’ll be notified with this « All done screen ».
First goal of the project will allow us to create the App for iOS users. Second goals will allow to create the App for Android users.
If we reach £8,283 threshold, we will develop the App for iOS; getting to £16,021 threshold, it will be developed on the Android. If we achieve better, we’ll develop more features according to your experiences and feedbacks.

Risks and challenges
There are risks and challenges when we develop an Application but, during all the preparation of the project, we keep in mind that we have to reduce the risk significantly.
Specifications of the project are very complete and have been developed with experts who used to work on iOS and Android Apps. Every single aspect of the App has been checked.
In addition, a maximum preparation including rewards, shipments and logistics has been made before the launch of the project; so if it succeeds, we’ll know exactly what to do and when to do it.
Lastly, we’ll keep an open communication with all our backers. Communication is, to our point of view, very important, so if we experience any delay with development, fulfillment, shipping, etc… we’ll let you know.
