Vagabond - The Sail in the Desert

In the elvish city of Alabast, the 'Sail in the Desert', a rogue must find a treasure deeply tied to the survival of her people.

What is Vagabond?

Vagabond is a visual novel that will be set in the same time as Dizzy Hearts and will feature multiple character routes, making it longer than its predecessor. The game is set in the jewel city of Alabast, a city in the sunlit country of Prima Alabasta. It follows the story of Irya Prasaad, a rogue, a thief, a vagabond who weaves through the internal conflicts of the city that is both a symbol of wealth and of poverty, oppressed by it's bureaucratic caste of desert elves, obsessed with order and perfection, oblivious the the plight of their indentured population.

Vagabond is estimated to be much larger than Dizzy Hearts, with a plot that bridges all routes. The game will have six character routes and a final route where each route provides a piece of the puzzle necessary to discover the treasure hidden in the vaults of Alabast. It is a romance visual novel with elements of mystery, action and adventure.

      Even better. If 25k is unlocked, every backer who pledged more than $10 gets a digital copy of the game. So you don't have to get a specific pledge just for Vagabond.

      But Vagabond will only be in development after Dizzy Hearts releases (A lot of the framework for my games is already in place, so I can go into this much detail about how big they will be). So it's estimated to start development early 2014. Also the Radiant Compendium includes data on Alabast (that isn't a spoiler), and detail on their hierarchy and culture that would be too spammy to put in the game.

      If the goal goes past 25k, I'll have another goal that gives everyone boxed copies of Vagabond. Another that gives everyone over a certain amount a bonus 'care package' that's early runs of Wall Scrolls and such.

      Well....this certainly sounds ambitious! 454% of the goal! But i've always loved stretch goals adding content more than all the others, so it's ok. Only one question: in the event we actually reach 25k, will Vagabond be included in pledges or be an add-on? thanks.
