Private Premiere & Festival News!

Dear Backers,

Yesterday it was announced that Mr. Plastimime has been selected for this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival!

It will be screened on Sunday June 22nd as part of the New British Animation program, this is a competitive program which would see the winner collect the very prestigious McLaren Award! Of course we would love to see Mr. Plastimime win, but we are up against some wonderful films so wish all the film makers the best of luck. The full program can be seen HERE

The film has also been accepted at Anima Mundi Animation Festival in South America! We're very excited about this as it means the film will be reaching audiences around the world.

Thank YOU for helping make this happen!

In addition to the festival news, we also held the Crew, Backer, Family & Friends Private Party last Friday at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Thank you to all that were able to make it. The film was extremely well received and completely took on a new life as we watched it in a packed theatre. It was great to finally meet some of the animators who had worked on the film remotely. It was especially touching to see our backers who had made a special journey from abroad - (thank you Paolo, Julien and Nancy!) as well as those coming from around the UK.

A special thank you has to go to Mike Connaris at Mcasso sponsored the evening and kept the drink flowing. Mike's continued support and generosity has been unbelievable.

Below are some photos from the evening's events;

      My family and I loved your film :) I audibly gasped at the end. We are left wondering if he survived. The dance sequence is an amazing work of art. I'm so very glad you created it and that I could have the chance to assist you in a small way. Best of luck in the awards!!
