Dungeon Brawl - A Customizable, Free-For-All, RPG boardgame (Canceled)
In this boardgame, your friends are now your enemies, vying for the treasure. Choose a class, create a deck, and destroy your friends!
Dungeon Brawl is a customizable, take-that, free for all, RPG board game for 3 to 5 players. In this 30 - 60 minute game, Set in a high-fantasy world, players use cards with an Action System similar to D&D. With their custom deck, adventurers attempt to deal as many Wounds to other players as well as grab as much Treasure as they can. Once the Wound Deck runs out, each player adds their Wounds vs Treasure. The player with the highest score, wins!
You and your fellow adventurers have completed what you thought was a typical dungeon crawl. With the dungeon cleared and boss defeated, the treasure is yours for the taking... or so you thought. There's a disagreement as to who gets what. Talking leads to arguing. Arguing leads to yelling. Suddenly, there's a twinkle of light and a flash of steel. Everyone jumps back, weapons at the ready. Each person eyes the other as they all stare back knowingly. There's no turning back now. It's now become a Dungeon Brawl.

Players select 1 of 5 unique adventurers, then customize a deck consisting of weapons, armor, items, and abilities. Draft your Artifact - a unique, powerful card which is also placed in your deck. You're then dropped into the dungeon with your so-called "friends". Choose wisely; your cards determine what actions you can take.
Turns operate much like a simplified D&D game within a 2x3 grid. Players have 1 Move Action and 1 Attack Action. When attacked, players defend with Reaction cards. Any damage not prevented becomes a Wound. Draw cards from the Wound Deck. Wounds go to the defender, Treasure goes to the attacker. Both types of cards are added to their respective decks, bogging them down. Wounds are -1 point and Treasure is +1 point.
As if your former comrades weren't enough to deal with, Traps go off at the start of every round! Each trap modifies the dungeon for a single round. They vary in their level of nastiness and only get worse as the game draws closer to the end.
Once the Wound deck runs out, players finish out the round, dealing and healing as many Wounds as they can. Once the last player of the round is finished, the game ends. Players count up their Wounds versus Treasure. The player with the highest score (or in some cases, least negative score) wins!
I'm glad you asked! We have a kickstarter-exclusive neoprene playmat. If you don't like the idea of using a folded cardboard gameboard, this is perfect! All mats are produced by GameMatz.com. They are one of the highest quality gaming mats you can get on the market today.
The previously mentioned Passive Ability Character Card will now be transformed from a simple card, into a large card tableau. No more accidentally shuffling your Passive Ability into your deck. Plus, you have a nice place to put your deck and discard pile.
New character art will be added on each Action card type for each character! That is nearly 20 new pieces of art!
