About this project
Patent Pending Touch-Screen Cleaning System:
The Swipe Cleaning System: How it Works
Both the LT and SE models incorporate a Cleaning Assembly covered in a high end Micro-Fiber material. It's similar to the material included with expensive sunglasses. It is completely safe for your iPhone display. After many uses if you care to clean it, simply move it from the secure position, snap it out, and wash it with warm water and non-abrasive soap if necessary. Replace it the same way.
The Swipe Case story:
The Swipe is a unique product. It came to mind in a room full of people at the end of a morning meeting. Right after the meeting, three or four of the people in the room were sharing their phone screens and wiping them with their shirts and napkins. The idea for Swipe was born.
Thank you to all of our backers who supported the project!
The Swipe Team
Both models offer Integrated Touch Screen Cleaning (our Patent Pending feature) and other than that they are vastly different. The Swipe SE has the Swiper (cleaning assembly) in the top and the Swipe LT has the Swiper located near the bottom of the screen over the home button.
Swipe SE (original): The Swipe SE is a high end Hybrid Bumper Style Case. The SE sports CNC Aircraft Aluminum top case and a High Impact PC Molded Base that completely surrounds the iPhone and prevents contact or interference by the Aluminum. The SE also offers a 1/4-20 Tripod mount that is always there for your photo/video opportunities. The micro channels and other delicate machining make this a product that will be well over $100 at retail even for the iPhone4/4s (non special edition)
Swipe LT: This is a more standard yet compact case. Swipe LT is a pressure fit two piece case molded from High Impact ABS with a soft touch rubber coating outer for a comfortable grip. The SE fit's your iPhone like a glove and the Swiper is located over the home button. The home button actually pushes through the 3M microfiber to the edges of the existing iPhone button and works very well.
We know some confusion was created adding the second model Mid-Project and hope that this will clear that up for you. Our goal was to release an option that the Kickstarter world was asking us for in a timely manner.
We launched the Swipe LT mid-project because nearly 20,000 video views and numerous comments and blogs told us if it were smaller and less expensive they wanted one. So we worked overtime and lauched a product we had for November mid-project.
