Congratulations! The A&M Years one of 10 'Reissues of the Year' from Rolling Stone

Posted by The Swimming Pool Q's (Creator)

The newest issue of Rolling Stone (Issue 1198/1199 - December 19, 2013 with Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy on the cover) contains something pretty exciting:

The A&M Years was honored as one of the 10 Reissues of the Year!

We couldn't be prouder, and you should be proud too, because your support helped get this project off the ground. Like the headline says, you helped ensure The Swimming Pool Q's "got their due" with a great reissue project.

David Fricke writes: "Hailing from Atlanta, the Q's were literate and buoyant, a Dixie-noir blend of the B-52's, Sixties folk rock and the Velvet Underground circa Loaded. Lou Reed liked the Q's' first A&M LP so much he took them on tour. Never doubt his word."

So, congratulations, and thank you.

Still somewhat literate and buoyant, we're also pleased to let you know that the System of Love EP is now available on iTunes and Amazon as well as Bandcamp (with exclusive bonus track). You may have yours, but what about that hard-to-shop-for music-lover you know? A great gift – get one now, or forward these links to someone you know!

Stay cool,
The Swimming Pool Q's
