Is TRACPOINT compatible with Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac OS systems - as a mouse and a presenter?
Yes. Out of the box, TRACPOINT can be used as both a normal mouse, and an 'in-air' mouse or presenter on practically any device with mouse support.
This includes Windows, MacOS, Android, and Linux systems.Last updated:
The full mouse support offered by ProPoint in supported remote desktop applications is not available on TRACPOINT. But the upcoming release of iPadOS will add partial mouse support as an accessibility feature. With this enabled, the TRACPOINT can be used across all apps on an iPad.Last updated:
TRACPOINT, is 'plug and play' and will work as a standard mouse and also an 'in-air mouse' right out of the box for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS devices.
For customized configuration, we have developed software that runs on both Mac and Windows. This software is called the Swiftpoint Control Panel.
We don't have custom software for Linux, however, functions can be mapped within applications. All optical mouse movements, tilt gestures, and in-air movements are reported, and able to be accessed by developers.Last updated:

Not yet, we really want to make a left-handed version of our pen-grip mice as we have some lefties on our team too.
To do a left handed mouse we need to hit critical mass on sales of the right-handed version - only at this stage can we make a new set of molds for a left-handed device.
Note that we have many left-handers who use the mouse in their right hand, there is a learning / transition period that can be a few days, or up to a week, depending on the individual.Last updated:
Absolutely. TRACPOINT works with the wireless bluetooth connection. The USB charger included with TRACPOINT is for charging only. So if you don't have a standard USB port you can just pair it directly with Bluetooth then use any USB connection to charge the mouse.
We are currently developing a USB-C charger that will be compatible with TRACPOINT. We are sorry but this won't be completed until after the TRACPOINT Kickstarter shipments. This will be available in the future as a separate accessory.Last updated:
To deliver TRACPOINT to you we will be using fulfillment partners in the USA and Hong Kong. Rewards bound for the US will ship from within the US. All other rewards will be shipped from Hong Kong. The exact freight service used for your shipment will depend on where the item is shipped from and where you live. You will receive further information on this in the post campaign delivery survey.
We have tried to do our best but some international backers will be subject to local customs import duties and taxes. These backers will be responsible for covering all of their local customs duties and taxes. If you are unsure of your country’s customs policy please check with your local authority.Last updated:
Our goal is to make the freight cost-neutral while striking a balance between a great delivery experience and minimizing costs to backers.
Shipping and logistics is more complex and expensive than most realize. This is why crowdfunding campaigns often ship rewards directly from their manufacturers in China with a no care - no responsibility attitude. After running 3 successful crowdfunding campaigns and e-tailing for many years we have learnt the lessons and heard the frustrations from customers who have received slow, unreliable shipping services and the pain of border clearance procedures.
Outlined below is some more detail on how the freight costs are distributed:
- Creators don’t receive the full shipping fee, Kickstarter and our collaboration partners also take a good percentage of these shipping costs as part of their fee structure.
- Your payment card provider also gets a percentage of the fee as well.
- We then consolidate and move stock from our manufacturing partners to suitable global delivery destinations and fulfillment centers, this means shipping across borders and re-warehousing stock.
- The Swiftpoint team sorts, processes and enters thousands of shipment details into multiple fulfillment systems ensuring you get a local service that you can rely on.
- These global fulfillment centers then process, pick, label, send and track thousands of orders and deliver them to you in a timely and efficient manner.
This processing adds additional costs but significantly improves logistics, speeds up delivery times and greatly improves the experience for backers.
Additionally, the US has imposed 25% tariffs on goods made in China.
We believe the additional service from our logistics partners is great value for our backers and the vast majority will appreciate the timely and accurate delivery process.Last updated:
