SVIN is about to release their next album "Virgin Cuts" on vinyl and cd. This album is our fifth and the first as a trio. We are in deep financial trouble and are therefore looking for your help. We are celebrating the 10-year anniversary for SVIN by making our very best record ever! However we have parted ways with our record-label and are now lacking the funds to complete the release of Vinyls and Cds.
We want to raise the funds for pressing vinyls and manufacture cd's to bring out for all of you. We encourage you to pre-order the music or choose another of the great rewards we have put together for you!
We're working closely together with our danish PR office, Nordic Waves, our international PR office in Berlin, Creative Eclipse and our manager at Kaja Management to get this record out internationally. We've released the first single from the album with more two more coming in late summer.

Since debuting in 2011 with Heimat, SVIN has made their mark on the international music-scene with four albums and a fifth one in the making. SVIN recorded their latest critically acclaimed album, Missionær (2016), in the legendary Sundlaugin studios in Iceland with massive inspiration from the epic surroundings. A new, darker synthetic sound took the band in a new direction and laid out a new course that is being explored in the work with the coming release. SVIN creates pulsating freeform rock with layers of narco-folklore, punk and doom.
In the aftermath of the release of Missionær, SVIN performed at the prestigous Roskilde Festival in 2017 and have during recent years toured extensively all over Europe, Russia and The Balkans as well as working with films and dance.
"Normally bands like this create their genius in the flickering shadows on the underground but SVIN have enough ammunition to go the whole hog and take the dark power onto the main stages.
They are that good.
"We need to get this band to the UK now!"
“Fact remains that this is one damn interesting piece of work, one that you need to check out, whatever stuff you usually listen to.” Merchants of Air
“The music is magic — a repeating motif of clanging, chiming guitars and pounding percussion, punctuated by even more compulsive rhythmic patterns and the seething flow of poisonous riffs.” -No Clean Singing (USA)
“The new album sees the band further pushing the envelope of just what they’re capable of, producing another enigmatic album experience that offers intense rushes and surprising calms. “ -Gareth Watkin, echoesanddust.com
Risks and challenges
The audiomaster has been sent to the pressing plant and vinyls and cd's are in production, so unless the plant has a delay there are no problems in the getting the record done.
Since we are all busy people it could be a while before we are ready to give the music lessons, but that is only in the case that a lot of people buy them.
Other than that, we don't see any big challenges. The shows are booked and the record is on it's way. Yay!
