People keep asking me when I'll ever finish a damn album, and the answer's always been "when I have the money." So let's make it rain, shall we?
The whole album, entitled "11 Years of Lo-Fi: An EP" is pretty much unmixed & unmastered--the only production done is volume adjustments (as there were several sets of recordings), done by the amazing Ryan A. Adams.
The back photo was taken by Ginger Collins on my birthday in 2010 at Venice Cafe, and she was generous enough to donate use of the photo. All text overlay/other photo-shopping on this and the insert was done by me.
The front cover was all done by hand--I stained the side of my dresser, hand made and affixed all the lettering.
All CDs will be numbered, and written on by hand, by me. All covers will be hand-glued, too.
Many of these songs are no longer played live (they date back as far as my freshman year of high school, frighteningly enough), and these are and will be the only (or most legit) recordings ever made of these songs.
How Lo-Fi can you go? This is about it.
Costs include: color printing of both covers & insert, blank CD-Rs, and cardboard CD sleeves.
This will be a numbered, limited run of 500 CDs. Get 'em while you can! All proceeds after production costs or made from EP sales go straight to funding the full-length, not-as-lo-fi album, Comfy Chair, which is currently in the works.
Thanks for reading, listening, supporting, and doing what you do.
