Holiday deliverables

Hi, backers—with the holidays and moving on to the next phase, we’ve had our hands too full to post sooner. It’s exciting that we’ll be able to ship our third and finest Kickstarted product with your support—thanks.

Gifts

For those who are giving Range Dial as a gift, we’ve made a holiday card you can download and print for the recipient. If you got the original wired Range add-on, you should get it next week, provided you responded to the email we sent you.

Your friends who wish they’d gotten in on the Kickstarter can now preorder Range Dial, though of course theirs won't ship until after the Kickstarter rewards go out in spring.

Design for manufacturing

We’re currently working on the final mechanical design before we send the model files off to get tooling made. It's always a tense moment when you let go of the ability to make further changes, so we're being extra thorough. The goal is to consolidate and simplify parts for more efficient production and to improve the final fit and finish. Then things get real when we use that tooling to make the first injection molded parts.

More exciting updates to come as we get into production. To satisfy your factory craving until then, here's a peek inside one of the suppliers for our buddy Craighton's new Kickstarter project (which is currently running). Highly appropriate for football season. Have a good weekend, and good cooking.
